“When passing through Lake of the Ozarks from Chicago, we stayed in a king suite at Camden on the Lake Resort. Our only real priorities were a soft bed with a nice view of the lake, but we got so much more. The suite was like a small upscale apartment with beautiful crown molding, a complete "mini" kitchen including a dishwasher, a seating area with a sectional sofa, large flat screen TV and fireplace. The shower in the ample bathroom came with dual shower heads offering a delightful way to wake up in the morning. There were 3 closets, one with a safe, a wonderfully comfortable king-size bed with high end linens, another flat screen and a balcony complete with astounding views. What a treat!”

“We have stayed here several times. The rooms have always been clean and tidy. We took a group of 19 people on a weekend motorcycle trip and stayed here. The owners are very accommodating no matter if it is just us or a group. This is a small business that is done right!Walkability: Easy walk to a few restaurants and shopping.Food & drinks: Plenty close”

“Older hotel but appeared to be recently remodeled/painted. Service was excellent. Beds are comfortable with nice linens and pillows. Our only issue with our stay was the rooms not being well insulated. We could hear everything from the room next to us. We did not ask to be moved as it was later in the evening when the neighboring people showed up. I’m sure they would have been accommodating as the resort was fairly empty being the off season. One other thing of note was the indoor pool was our reason for staying at this resort and it was closed for new paint. They told us it was open Sunday when we left but it was just bad timing on our part.”

“Love going to ANYTHING that happens at this place. Restaurant is great, basement bars, beautiful, conference center is awesome.
