The receptionist even gave my mom and I hugs as we were leaving. I would recommend them to anyone. Euthanasia is not an easy decision and they made it as comfortable as possible for us. “I cannot say enough about this place. I normally would see Dr. Melissa who I have loved. She has always cared so much about my dog and never wrote her off just because of her age like other vets have. She always tried to come up with a solution to help her and putting her down was never brought up. I saw Dr. Julie for the first time a little over a week ago and she was also amazing. Last night we had to get in for an appointment and the only vet that was available was Dr. Katheryn. We had never seen her before so I was a little nervous not having Dr. Melissa. Come to find out my dog had cancer not just a cough and it had spread everywhere. I was not expecting to have to leave without my whole world in my arms that I've had for more than half my life. Dr. Katheryn was so kind, compassionate and she didn't even know my dog. I couldn't have asked for a better vet to be with me during the most difficult moment of my life. She explained everything in such a way that was comforting to my young children so they understood what was happening during it. The office closed while we were still there yet they never rushed us out of there. They told us to take as much time as we needed. Our vet tech, who I don't recall her name, was amazing as well and very accommodating. Thank you to all of you for treating my baby girl so good, being so genuine and caring. I will never forget each one of you and the way you helped care for her throughout this past year of her life. From the bottom of my heart, thank you ?”

Other places were nice but Crossroads is special. They go above and beyond to provide exceptional care. Dr Jamie is kind, knowledgeable and a great listener. Every staff member we’ve encountered is welcoming, helpful and professional. Our bully gets really anxious and they’ve all been so patient and sweet to him and go out of their way to help him feel comfortable every visit. They are compassionate and listen to your questions and concerns. They’re straightforward and will go over all option’s giving you the information needed to make the hardest decision for your baby’s treatment plan. They truly care about the health and quality of life of your baby and will go above and beyond to make it better for them if they can. We were given 6 more precious months with our Maggie thanks to Mizzou animal cancer center and for that we will forever be grateful.”

“My dog had some problems walking with his back legs one morning and I couldn't get in to our normal vet. I called a few places, and they said to come down and they would get me in as soon as I got there. The receptionist Jodie gave me the paperwork and highlighted the important parts so that I could get seen right away. The nurse Leeanna was kind to both me and my dog. I was very upset and had been crying, and she instantly handed me a tissue box and put me at ease. The vet Dr. Riley listed to my explanation and did an examination on my dog. I really appreciated that she took the time to explain what she was doing and gave me tips for things to look for at home. We got his medicine, she wrote down some suggestions with a list of 24 hour vet hospitals if there was an emergency, and insisted that if I needed anything to feel free to call or email. I was in and out in 30 minutes with some of the best attention I have ever received for my dog and I truly appreciated it.”

“Pros: My dogs have always received good care here, and the wellness plan saves quite a bit of money (especially for my giant breeds). We have been taking our dogs to Banfield (South County and now O'Fallon) for 17 years. Cons: You rarely see the same vet twice. Every time I take my dogs in for their 6 month appointments, the vets are new. If developing a relationship with your pet's doctor is a must for you, this may not be the best fit.”

“Back in March, Dr. Marshall (from the Manchester location) discovered our cat was in end-stage heart failure during a routine HCM scan and jumped into action to have my cat admitted, stabilized and put on medication. This location helped her through that episode and she made it another 6 months with us and we are beyond thankful for that extra 6 months they bought us with her. Her first stay I was given updates and photos through her hospitalization and you could tell they really cared and knew how much she meant to us. Our last visit was no different - while it was unexpectedly and so sadly our last day with her, they were so kind and compassionate the whole way through. While the last thing you want to hear is that there are really no further options, I’m glad they were the ones to tell us that. They handled it with such grace and made us feel as comfortable as they could considering the heartbreaking circumstances. You can feel the love, kindness, and genuinely flow through this place. Thank you so much for caring for our baby.”
