We have been with commerce for five years and we are finally done. The policies are ridiculous. We have deposited multiple large amount checks to the account with little to no hold times and Nov 2nd We went to deposit a check in Lebanon and she wanted to put a 7 day hold on a check without releasing any funds.. With everything being electronic there should be no need for a long hold.

Just opened a business account and a personal account with Commerce Bank. The Personal Banker, Christan Cook, was very helpful and Knowledgeable! We didn't have an appointment, but immediately got in and were assisted! Great Service! We have had previous loans through a different Commerce and also have a Credit Card through Commerce. Hope this location is as good as its first impression! Will update later...

Everytime i turn around i get locked out of my online account. i was even told to delete my online app and reinstall it to fix "my problem".2 days before they plan on a system wide upgrade i get locked out again, and was told to wait until the upgrade is complete. i wait get access again, only to be locked out again within 6 hours. this time its the weekend and no online workers like after noon on saturday. i wait until monday, and call the 800 number. the first time, "we're experiencing high call volumes" and hangs up. not giving me the option to be put on hold. i try later and this time i get put on hold and transferred something like 3 times and 45 minutes later, im still locked out. I finally hung up and drive 10 miles to town and deal with the local branch. in a matter of 15 minutes im back online.in 3 weeks when im done receiving all my current pending online payments, im closing this account and hopefully never going back to this company.

closed my accounts today. I opened them this past spring, hoping to start a good relationship with a COMPETENT bank in town. Nothing went easy, multiple mistakes were made by the banker setting up the accounts, it was clear to me that this bank doesn't have a good grasp on detail or handling basic tasks such as setting up new accounts. The easiest transaction I had was closing the accounts, that went smoothly. I am out HOURS of time and a fair bit of $ because I was charged for not setting up online banking, which I could not do, because they entered in the wrong information for my business, every time I tried to set up online banking, I discovered yet another thing that had been done incorrectly on their side... Decided best to cut ties before I really ended up getting the shaft...

I had the worst experience at the Commerce Bank in Lebanon MO. I was just cashing a check from my work. My work has an account at this Commerce Bank in Lebanon MO. The bank lady in drive up said I needed additional information with my license; my phone number and social security number. I told her that I don't need an account at this bank, and that I was just cashing a check from an account from this bank, and she cut me off. I only needed to cash it today because I usually have direct deposit at work but something went wrong this week. She said. Do you want to cash the check. She was rude and kept cutting me off when I tried to explain. I hate it, but I gave my information. She said I was in the system now and I could cash checks anytime. I DON'T WANT TO BE IN THE COMMERECE BANK'S SYSTEM!! THIS IS NOT MY BANK!! DO NOT USE THIS BANK!☹????
