I loved being there, almost as much as I love alpacas. Hi, welcome to my mini-essay on why alpacas are great. Most people know that alpacas can be used as pack animals and that their fleece is valued for its silkiness. Pet lovers often ask if alpacas can make friendly pets. The truth is, these llama cousins are friendly and easy to handle.
