I use Jamie to get my eyelashes done and she does a fabulous job. The salon itself is very cute and set up really nicely. I love the decor they have. Jamie's always on time and does a great job I would definitely recommend her.

I have been searching for a new stylist for years and had been cutting and coloring my own hair. I called Cocos and got in right away with Meg and WOW was I so glad!! She is sweet, talented, and spent so much time on my thick, frizzy hair. She followed my every request and completely revitalized my color and cut. I feel like a new woman and now have my own wonderful stylist again! Thank you Meg for being so AWESOME!!!!

I truly love Coco’s salon. It is the cutest place. Every time I go there is a new addition to the decor that is always stunning and if you’re a plant lover the unique plant collection is a joy. I see Nicole and she is the sweetest stylist I have ever had. She makes you feel like family. She is talented and consistent and I always leave feeling refreshed. Scheduling is a breeze and Nicole is a great communicator ( I love that she reminds me when I have an upcoming appointment). You can inquire about stylists/availability on line through their website and they respond quickly! I highly recommend.

Nicole is fabulous! She always works with you and communicates what can and can't work. My hair always looks great when I leave!
She also did my wedding and was able to knock everyone out so fast and everything was perfect!

The staff is very rude. I walked in today to see if I. Sn get my hair cut. There were three workers. One was cleaning her hair utensils. I stood at the counter. No one acknowledged I was even there. No one greeted me. I stood there for 8 minutes and not one person looked up at me and said anything. I walked out and went down the street and received the best service. I will not recommend this place to anyone or ever spend my money.

Unfortunately this review is not about the salon itself but one of its workers that I’d had do my hair for over a year. Her name is Tavia. I truly believe that she never actually liked me which is one of the major problems. It was very obvious because she only would like to post all the “blonde” hair stlyes on her profile that she was doing. I am naturally a dark brunette that wanted to go blonde. The first problem is she is very inexperienced in working with ethnic hair and dark hair and only prefers blondes and working with people that can easily go blonde. There are stylist that can do what I wanted originally with my hair and she’d always tell me that’s “not possible” or it would take so many attempts… I’d always leave semi okay with my hair and because I wanted it more blonde and she didn’t do it right the first few times then by that point my hair was fried. I then had an appointment before my vacation I was going on and my hair was literally orange/red. It was terrible to the point I was embarrassed to leave my house and it was because she had put a dark colored toner all over my hair which was exactly the opposite of what I’d asked but then wanted to blame me for this?! I even had to pay her when she chose to use a color stripper on my hair and redo it. Then still had to go on vacation with orange and red hair streaks (thank god for filters)! Imagine going on a European vacation the only time off you get and your hair looks like this and she had no remorse. Then as if that’s not bad enough she cancel my follow-up appointment and then never tells me when she can reschedule. I called and texted and after over a week she responds finally blaming this on the salon owner. “That the owner didn’t feel comfortable to continue frying my hair”, how terrible and what a cop out. It was so unprofessional. Not for nothin to, I have long hair, but for the services that she did, I think I was pleased maybe once or twice with my hair. One would say well then why didn’t you go somewhere else, because I’m nice and I trusted her. If anyone wants the visuals of my hair just ask, but for now I’ll just leave the screenshots of the texts exchange. Coco was always super sweet and I don’t blame her for this. She has someone in her salon renting a booth that is not skilled enough to do hair and definitely not skilled enough to be professional enough after doing someone’s hair for over a year to have an adult conversation with them professionally.
Oh and it’s my birthday this coming week and my hair was supposed to be done last Saturday… does Tavia care about the fact that I could have went else where had she been an adult enough to have a conversation with me? No, clearly. Terrible business etiquette. Do better, have accountability, and put yourself in others shoes.

I see Julie here, and she is fantastic. It's in downtown Lee's Summit. It is so great for easy access and area. Julie does everything I want and need and even things I didn't even know I wanted done, and I come out looking fabulous every time. The space is super comfortable and feels comfortable and clean. Prices are great for the amount of quality you get as well.

Ryanne has been taking care of my cuts and color for the last 13 years. I trust her and only her with my hair. I get compliments every week on my hair with admiration on the color blends.
Coco Style lounge is so bougie and comfortable place to visit. The ambience is just perfect. I highly recommend Ryanne and Coco Style Lounge❣️
