RUDE pharmacist, I'm older and on disability, waiting for a ride, she told me get up n leave, she ran up on me when I said no, it's hot out. If she had the courage to do that outside to my face, ide level her, no matter what. She needs on meds n her green card checked. Twice I've had mixed meds and they acted like oh well

CVS in Target (Lees Summit) used to be the gold standard in medications, today they have become the worst i can imagine! The final straw was my last order which i placed January 8th 2025. There were three scripts on the order totaling $980.00 - i paid for the order up front and requested delivery to my house 1 1/2 miles from target. Today i still don’t have my meds! They mailed them via the US Post Office, the least reliable delivery service I know of. I have phoned this pharmacy seven times during the last4 days and after wading through their automated answering service which you cannot speak to a human being - have been given an automated message “We will call you back in one hour”. I have received no call back or help of any kind with this problem! These people could not organize a flea jump on a dead dog! I am changing my business to another pharmacy immediately!!

They are all superb at their jobs and are always willing to help with a smile on their face. If you go there enough, they’ll greet you by name even when you’re just walking by the pharmacy. And they are so empathetic to the patients… so please do not be mean to them! They are doing their best and work VERY HARD! ☮️❤️🔆

Got a prescription of Gelutol for my hair loss. When I called the place to confirm the pickup, a man named James picked up the phone and kindly walked me through the process of picking it up. When I brought up my coupon to him the price (with no problem) decreased from $350 to $25! Thanks CVS, Thanks James, Thanks Gelutol!
Also at this Target I found the perfect shirt for my friend, because the patterns are so complicated. Ended up being such a perfect gift that my friend ate the receipt!

I never thought I’d have to rate a pharmacy however I’ve become extremely disappointed in this location.
In the past this location has always been so pleasant and helpful with any and all questions. This location always has the same individuals working so I’ve come to recognize faces and names, especially James who in the past has always been extremely nice and helpful.
Since about May of 2023 this location seems to always be bothered by customers picking up medications in person as I’m rarely greeted, I often have to stand at the counter for multiple minutes before someone even looks up at me, and I’m often left standing there for awhile feeling as if I’m an inconvenience to them. The interactions always seem rushed even when I’m the only person in line.
Recently a medication has caused major issues in obtaining and when I called to pull the medication off hold I was shocked that the price went from $25 (originally $150 but using coupon would lower it to $25) to over $350 with the coupon. When I asked why, the individual on the phone was unable to provide any information as to why the cost changed and placed me on extensive holds numerous times. The individual even placed me on hold once while I was talking without telling me I was being placed on hold. At the end of the call it was clear the individual was unsure and unable to assist and offered to have me speak to James the pharmacist. Knowing in the past how helpful James has been I was willing to do so to hopefully understand why the cost changed drastically. I was expecting James to explain a possible change in contract since it was now 2024 or even explain a possible error. I’m aware contractual rates renew yearly so I was thinking this to be a possibility. I was placed on another hold and after a few minutes James picks up the phone, without saying hello James says “that’s the price, that’s what the price is, call your insurance”. James offered no other information and seemed to be annoyed I was still on the line so said okay and ended the call. After this interaction I called my insurance who confirmed the price was incorrect. My insurance could sense my frustration and offered me a 3 month supply at half the price CVS was quoting for a 1 month supply with the coupon.
Unfortunately, I will not return to this pharmacy. The lack of customer service is unacceptable. I understand places are short staffed and that a patient should call their insurance when questions arise however the pharmacy employees also have access to information to help provide patients an understanding of costs.

In a pinch I'd go but definitely needs an overhaul. Shelves were pretty bare, and cleaning is definitely needed.

The pharmacist, Tatyana Hutchinson is EXTREMLY unprofessional, rude, crude, and hateful. My 16 year-old son attempted to pick up a prescription for Sucrafate (which we have filled in the past for $4.00) and was told it would be $60.00. As my son was standing at the counter on the phone with me I asked him to let me speak to the pharmacy staff so I could straighten out the cost issues. I could hear the staff member on the other end of the line refusing to talk to me. She said I would need to call. So I proceeded to call, and Tatyana answered the phone and was extremely rude from the get-go. She would not even allow me to speak. I kindly asked why the medication was so expensive this time, and she just went off stating the "doctor ordered it this way!" I mentioned that I was in the medical field and told her she was being extremely rude and unprofessional and said, and I quote, " I do not care! We are really busy and I don't have time to discuss this with you." Then she hung up on me. WOW! Sounds like she needs to go back to school and take some classes on professionalism and customer service.

They really work with you to try and get your prescriptions. They wanted to make sure it was affordable and the route of administration that we prefer. Best pharmacy I have dealt with.

Switched to this CVS after multiple bad experiences at Walgreens. Couldn't be happier with my decision.
