This is an incredible organization that has revitalized the historic downtown area into destination boutiques and eateries. They have flawlessly blended the Victorian with the Modern. Stop by and visit with them. They will tell you all about their remarkable town.

Unprepared parking situation. Advertised carnival using pictures of vendors who were not present.

I love DT Lee Summit. The fall festival was terrible. Long lines we spent 80% of our time in line. The food set up was horrible.

Lots of events but never enough bathrooms. Businesses won't allow you to use their bathroom even if you make a purchase and 3 porta potties every 2-4 blocks isn't enough to accommodate the crowds. If you're lucky enough to find an unoccupied porta potty it's so disgusting or destroyed that you can't use it. At the most recent event, Oktoberfest, many businesses acted annoyed to even have patrons browsing their stores. Very unwelcoming. Vendors in the street booths were unfriendly or just ignored you. For a "family friendly" event it was quite the opposite so we left and found other things to do in a different town.

The Oktoberfest was great. Thanks Lee's Summit for doing this event.
