I went in today to have my dip taken off. I typically go to another salon in lees summit but wanted to try something closer to my house. It took over an hour and they charged me $35. When I asked why it was so expensive for a dip off when the menu didn’t show that they pretended like they didn’t understand me and continued to ask for a tip over and over again. Will not be returning.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. The “manager” did my nails and was extremely rough with me, cut my thumb and multiple other spots on my hands, and was in such a rush, she left my hands in horrible shape. She paid more attention to other new customers than me and shaped/cut up my hands the fastest I have ever experienced from a nail tech. She threw my hands around and was not gentle at all through the whole experience. She cut me numerous times with the buffing tools.
I started off asking for a simple design that she could not do and instead of owning up to it, blamed it on the color of the polish, which was exactly the same as the pic I showed her. She got an attitude when I told her to take it off and do just white. She did a sloppy job with the white and it came out super thick. I was very unhappy about this and asked to speak to a manager. She said she was the manager and got a very snippy attitude with me stating that I either had to pay for them or have them soaked off. I opted to have them soaked off buy another employee, which did not feel great because of how badly the acetone burned my fresh cuts that she just did on my fingers and nails.
Probably the worst experience I have ever had getting my nails done. They are rude, money hungry, and asked everyone that came in for a manicure if they were getting their toes done or vice versa. It’s obvious that they don’t care about the quality that they are providing to their customers or how they treat people. Sad, honestly. My nails are now in absolutely horrible shape and very irritated as you can tell by the red around my cuticles.

Worst pedicure I have ever had- the man ripped out an in ingrown nail without any warning and then kept getting products like exfoliant in the open wound he created.
The peppermint scrub/ lotion also felt like he was applying icy hot.

No matter the time or day that I attempt to be serviced at this location there is a problem, I’m always asked to come back for part of my service. Against my better judgment I made 1 lady attempt to patronize this business and without fail I was 1 st told that a guy that has done my nails before doesn’t do nails 🤔. Them as I’m being serviced with a pedicure I’m asked to come back for my nails. I’m currently in the chair why should I have to return for my services, why not ask the people who aren’t being serviced to return. Needless to say I won’t return. My hard earned $$$ will be spent elsewhere.

I came in wanting cute Christmas nails and Leon exceed my expectations!!! I gave him the colors I wanted and he created a masterpiece! Highly recommended! Also he didn’t over charge me like every other place!

I only gave it 2 stars because my pedicure was great. Pam was incredible. I wish I could leave 2 reviews one for Pam and one for the Salon. This review is for the Salon. I booked a mani/pedi. Once pedi was done and went to get my manicure, I declined a Gel manicure. As soon as I declined the gel manicure and stated I only wanted a "regular" manicure, they suddenly couldn't get do my manicure. I have NEVER been to any salon that wouldn't do a "regular" manicure. I will not be back. Horrible. And as I was leaving the woman who told me no manicure kept singing "thank you" like it was a normal occurrence

Excellent Nails is definitely my spot. I’ve been coming here for years and I refuse to go anywhere else. No one gives the quality and attention to detail like Mia. She does AMAZING on any idea I’ve ever given her. The staff is always friendly and the place is always spotless. 10/10 would recommend any of the nail techs.

I came in with some jacked up nails from another salon. L fixed me up real good with a smile on his face. I also received a pedicure from another man BEST Pedi I’ve ever had in my life!! I will never go to another nail shop I’ve found at home nail shop!
