WARNING ‼️ I had work done by this company of about 48,000 worth of equipment. They told me it would be a 40 hr job and it took them 3 weeks to get half of it done. Upon picking up my brand new truck with 600 miles on it that I paid $ 115,000 I noticed they had scratch my door panel and gouge out my trim on the passenger side. Scratch my paint.Also broke the trim under the drivers seat and I had to come back for that as well, and when he replaced that Josh and his crew scratched my door side panel trim as well. I was not happy what so ever and let them know it at that time. Then I had to wait another month for them to even get the rest of my shell mounted on the back of my truck and they had my truck another 2 days for that. Then I get my truck home and notice they had scratch my steering column cover which they didn’t tell me about until I address it to them.Also the foam that was installed for my shell wasn’t properly installed bc Josh the service manager admitted they didn’t put industrial glue on the back side of the foam to prevent it from loosening bc he had ran out of it. I writing this review to hopefully save someone from a lot of stress bc the manager of the service department is very very dishonest about screwing things up and hope you don’t see it . I’ve had to go up there darn near 10 times for many different various things bc Josh the service manager would blow me off and have me come back, come back and come back .why, bc when I pick my truck up the first time they had me write off on the ticket so they could get paid before completion. I advise anyone that’s reading this Do Not have them do any work for you or business bc they have really poor customer service up there. I am paraplegic and am in a lot of pain 24/7 and for them to do this to me and anyone else with disabilities is appalling to say the least. So finally I got to the point of getting upset with them and they eventually told me they didn’t want to work on my truck anymore…bc I finally stood up for myself . They took my kindness and patience for weakness . To this day 7 months later they. Still haven’t completed the work and repaired the damage they caused on my brand new truck.. I also bought a Jazzy chair from them and it has rattled apart and the control box also went out just within 3 months and it’s all under warranty .This company has ignored replacing my parts under warranty. I told them that I had to buy a control box from another company bc I can’t wait on them anymore to replace the junk they sold me..So I’m out of another 250$ out of my own money. I’m also considering filling an emotional stress lawsuit with damages , lack of replaced parts and work not completed after I consult my attorneys on this company bc of what they have put me through. I’ve been told from several people after talking to them about this company and they too have had problems with them. There are a few company’s in the KC area that do way better work then what this company does.. save yourself time , money and grief by doing your research. Trust me I gave them plenty of opportunities to get my truck done right. I live 45 minutes one way from this company location and like I said earlier I’ve been there almost 20 times in the last 7 months. Horrible place to do business!!!

My father bought a van from this company about a year ago for about 70k and had everything he needed to access the van in his wheelchair. Unfortunately he passed recently and we only used the van maybe three times with less than 200 miles and the company said they'd be willing to buy it back from us. The van was inspected by them and had nothing wrong with it. They only offered us half the money back and were not wanting to negotiate. Don't trust this company. They're greedy and prey on the sick and poor. The owner should be ashamed and have his license to sell revoked.

Really good working on my handicap van install a locking pin only took them about an hour and a half said it would take a little bit longer, but it didn’t great bunch of people

My family is affected with the FSHD muscular dystrophy, my youngest son is now full-time in a wheelchair and transferring in and out of a vehicle was becoming very difficult…so much so, he was opting out of family outings, dinner runs, shopping trips, etc. He knew the burden of helping him in and out, while also lifting his wheelchair in and out of the back of my pilot, was a physical burden on myself (also affected with this disease). This company, Michael and Kent, in particular, went above and beyond to help us pick the right van to meet our needs. That included driving a few vans up to our home in Parkville to demonstrate the different options for lifts and ramps, the differences between van models, and when I ultimately really wanted a specific color, he ordered it and had it delivered to his store!! I can’t say enough to express my gratitude for all his help in making this transition to our new “normal”. The van is phenomenal and I proudly tell all how much I love Mobility KC (Lees Summit)!!

Kent went out of his way to make it a first class experience working with Mobility Works and Josh was excellent at crafting hand controls for cars. They are highly recommended.

Very honest people and a great repair price!!. Rosalind H was beyond professional. She drove my brother back and forth to drop off my van to the shop and than to bring my van back. She gave me information on classes to decide which hand controls worked best for me. And provided info on purchasing vans from any state they are located in and delivering here. Will definitely be using their service from now on.

They repaired a friends Braun Ability lift paid for through the VA. There was a loose safety switch. The lift requires eight bolts but the lift was installed with only four bolts. One of the four bolts is loose. Despite telling them several times and showing them the loose bolt, they told the VA that the sag in the lift is due to the bumper catching the lift and that it will no longer support the 800lb limit w/o changing the bumper. The lift now only works with a regular wheelchair and not the heavier motorized wheel chair that he needs to get around. We are still fighting with the VA for months trying to get them to let us take the lift to another Braun Ability dealer to get the bolt repaired all because the diagnosis that Mobility Works provided to the VA.

My family and I recently purchased a new Chrysler from Mobility works. The service was GREAT. They helped us look at several different options, let my daughter take her wheel chair through many different vans and different styles. They removed the passenger seat so we could see how her chair would fit in several vans. Through out the entire process they were very patient. Showed us many options, and always took time to listen.
Great Service, Great People, Great Value.
The staff are very nice and willing to help.
We got a great purchase for a great value.
I would highly recommend giving them a visit.

My husband and I purchased a new mobility van from MobilityWorks, and we both are thrilled. We could not be more impressed with our salesperson, Kent Rankin. He was so knowledgeable, patient, and very easy to work with. Kent took the time to understand our needs and helped us find the perfect vehicle. Our experience with the finance department and Michael was also wonderful. Everyone at MobilityWorks was responsive and helpful. I am super happy we went with this company; we feel very relieved knowing that our large investment will be well taken care of with their service.

I can't express my gratitude enough to mobility works! All of the staff that I have met there was so friendly, helpful and so kind. Kent went above and beyond to help our family find the right van that had all the accommodations we needed within our budget. The facility was also accessible, they had plenty of parking, door openers, light weight bathroom doors along with clean bathrooms, and a wonderful waiting area with drinks/snacks. If you are needing an accessible vehicle, this is the only place I would trust! They also provide service maintenance for vans and I will be bringing my van here for everything. If you are looking for a place that will treat you like family, this is the place!

Frankly, I wish that I didn't have to use a wheelchair van but such is life. I am very happy to know everyone at Mobility Works though! I live two hours away and the local mobility vehicle dealers didn't seem to want my business. Somehow, I got into contact with Mobility Works and they have impressed me many times since. They delivered my van to my driveway and Kent, Michael, and Josh have went above and beyond multiple times since! When my Honda is finally done, I will definitely come to Mobility Works for it's replacement. I truly appreciate you guys and am glad to know you!

Thank you MobilityWorks and Kent Rankin for all your help finding a wheelchair accessible van. We were really struggling until we got in contact with you. When you told us you all would bring the vehicles to us, you would take our vehicle in trade, you could handle financing, it all sounded too good to be true. But you meant every word of it and you did everything we needed, we pretty much bought what we wanted from our couch. I have never had such personal service in my life, you all were a Godsend.
