Called twice and didn’t get an answer, and there’s no voicemail box set up. Unfortunate.

I was having trouble finding a place to replace a hose on my classic car when I came across this garage. I am familiar with the building but never realized they did car repairs . What a stroke of luck finding it. They are great! Very straight forward. NO bull. Just honest hard working people. You can't beat the prices either. I had actually picked the car up from another popular place where they had kept it for 2 weeks and hadn't even touched it. They hadnt bothered to order the parts in either. They did leave me with a completely empty gas tank and dirt and bird droppings on the car however. This Main Street garage is a hidden gem. My thanks to Charlie the owner for being such a decent guy. If you're looking for honesty, give this place a tryService: General repairs & maintenance

These guys are amazing. They went way above and beyond to help me out. No, I am not some good looking girl, I am 72 years old. They did me such a kindness and then refused to take any money for their troubles. Thank God there are still such good and honest people in this world. I will definitely use them in the future and will recommend them to everyone.

Took my car there when it there was a wheel making a noise. Dan said it was a wheel bearing. $600.00 later and 6 hours the car made the same noise. This shop is terrible and has idiots that work there.

What an awe full review for such an amazing place!! First of all, let me begin by telling my experiences with these guys... This summer when I first bought my used Honda wagon it left me stranded in downtown KC, so I called Derricks first and he said he couldn't help me, but gave me a tow number. He said that it would take weeks to find out what's wrong and fix my car. I didn't have weeks!! Now, no offense to them..they are great in their own right too. So, I called them at Main street auto and they said to come on in and called the tow FOR me and gave me a discounted rate. It was my ignition switch. They offered me a ride to work if they weren't done in time and were just so respectful and kind. ( I am a woman, so rare is that respect given ) A few weeks later the shift cable went out and I was stranded at work this time, so I once again called them and they took care of my car and me. I asked them for their opinion on my car and they gave it a thorough inspection, checked and filled all fluids, and made sure to clean up messes made, they charged very fairly, kept me in constant communication, and NEVER,EVER try to fix things to make a buck. I haven't had any problems with my car since and am now getting a small oil leak fixed and they are checking my tires for imbalances for no charge!! I am grateful to have good people I can depend on to do the BEST work, be kind and respectful, and honest, and go the extra mile to be just GOOD people. These days that is a rare quality to find and I am glad I did!! Take your cars here and you can count on the work being done right the first time and be treated with respect!!

I'm a 12 year Army vet (mechanic) and had some trouble with a car strut. I removed the strut assembly and took it to Main Street Automotive to have the spring compressed and strut replaced. The old guy that help me was bitter and told me "I hate do-it-youselfers". When you tell your customers you hate them or degrade them in front of your face, you loose my business and recommendation.
