Don't waste your money. They are greedy, uninformed, spiteful people who just want your money. They don't communicate when your rent changes and will not make accommodations. I'm 4 months pregnant and they didn't even bother to reach out to inform us of property management changing until 3 days after. Good luck with this company and good riddance I don't have to deal with them anymore.

We’ve been without A/C for going on 12 hours in a heat advisory. The A/C is reading 80 degrees and it’s set to 69 degrees. We’ve contacted the maintenance line every other hour starting at 8:30 AM, it’s not 5:24 PM. The original ticket was submitted at 3:23 AM. No one from maintenance or the property has been in contact with my husband or myself. We’ve contacted maintenance through text, phone, and in the resident portal. I’m pregnant and we have a toddler. We pay entirely too much for rent, to not get a proper response to during a heat advisory. I’m disgusted by how this issue is being handled.

Coming up on 2 years renting from MGC and it’s been mostly a good experience. However, you’re forced to pay $33/mo for a “residents benefit package” that has quite literally no benefit to us. I don’t want some gimmicky monthly charge so I can “earn rewards”. I’m not trying to earn rewards off of paying my rent. I also don’t need the credit building that it offers. It also provides renters insurance even though I pay for my own renters insurance with sufficient requirements. So overall I just think it’s pretty crappy to tenants to make them pay for some useless package like that. That’s $396/year for something we get zero benefit from. I asked about getting this removed and was told there’s nothing they can do.

SCAM!!!! Beware!!! They will keep your security deposit no matter how clean and nice you leave the apartment. During the walk-through, my husband was told how great everything looked and he signed the check-out. Then, a few weeks after moving out of state, they get informed that we will only being getting $80 back out of $1000. There was a scuff outside the door and the door to the apartment never worked right since the day of move-in. Many times they tried to fix it but failed. They said they are charging to repair the door that was broken when we moved in!!!! I read many other reviews complaining about the same thing. IT IS A SCAM!!!! We would take them to small claims court if we didn't live out of state now! SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not move in to an MGC property unless you are prepared to spend an extra $100+ per month in miscellaneous fees, and have a good savings account for when you move out to pay for all “damages”! I cleaned my apartment top to bottom and made sure it was perfect and was still billed over $1900 in “damages”, in addition to paying $1850 to terminate my lease. All the fees I paid for this dump of a townhome could have been a down payment on a house. Terrible management, terrible policies, and they will take advantage of every penny that they can!
