Went here to get a tire balanced. The people were nice and it was very good price! Definitely fixed the problem. Was in and out in about 10 min! Highly recommend!

They are always great! They are extremely thorough and were on tije for both of our cars. They helped us with a license plate attachment free of charge. While we were there, a teenager pulled in because a light had come on and she didn't want to drive not knowing what it was. They pulled the code and put it on the lift (checked it out) free of charge and sent her on her way worry free with the information she needed to give to her parents as the car and code was safe to drive on. It really touched me as a mother of 2 teenage girls. I love knowing the guts at the clinic would take care of my girls and keep them safe first and worry about time and money later. Bravo and well done. You know we'll be back

I've been here a couple of times.We just moved to Missouri, so we had to get our cars inspected. They did a great job at a fair price.Our car had a tire that was bad so I ordered a new set from Goodyear. We set the installation appointment and when I brought the car in to have the car tires installed, they said that the tires did not arrive. It would have been nice to have been notified that they didn't have the tires before I showed up for the appointment.They weren't able to do much about the tires not being there, so I had to call Goodyear and get that resolved. But they told me what to doThe shop, installed the tires, and did an alignment on our vehicle which is great now. When I picked up the car, all of the tires were under inflated and my monitoring system did not like that. So when I got home, I filled up all four tires from 38 pounds to 45 as they should have been. Cody and Tim are both very friendly and nice. We will probably buy from them again. I think there was just a whole bunch of errors that happened this first time, and hopefully not again.

My partner and I have used this shop for years and we cannot say enough good things about it. These guys price more than fairly, will make sure you're on the same page, and will be as timely as possible. This place is 1000% worth the drive from Midtown and will be for as long as we live here.

Customer Beware - My family has used this clinic for over a decade. Originally they seemed to be knowledgeable, reasonable and did quality work. It's only been recently (The last year or so) that I personally noticed a decline in the quality of work. At first it was just a tire replacement that turned out to be slightly out of alignment and improperly placed on the rim. It wasn't a big deal and I was able to get it taken care of myself over the weekend. Next came the price increase. Like many auto shops, this location charges a premium for their services when compared to the price of DIY but it was only after the tire incident that I felt the prices were becoming excessive. Again I wanted to go with the benefit of the doubt and assumed that this was just inflation. However, most recently I brought one of my trucks in for a simple routine inspection to get the tags replaced. It was failed for "loose clamps" and a loose sway bar. The estimated cost of the repairs was 3-4x the price of DIY so I chose to do it myself and brought it back with the replacements a week later. While performing the maintenance, I was shocked that the sway bar was barley loose and most of the hose clamps I replaced looked fine.Aside from feeling the original failure was silly, I was just happy to hear the truck passed inspection the second time - Until I was told that my converter was stolen overnight. I had parked the truck in front of the store in plain view of the security cameras on premise. I filed a police report and was told that the cameras were either too grainy to make out or that the perpetrator used a stolen car and was untraceable. I don't fully blame the shop for this incident but struggled to get more info from both the police and the shop for months. Overall I was not please with how the shop handled the incident. The location claims they are not liable for the damages but I couldn't find a concise legal ruling online and my attorney was equally split on who it falls on. In the end I'm choosing to write this review over taking them to small claims court in hopes that others don't repeat my mistake and simply find another shop.TLDR; I brought my truck in for inspection and left with less than I drove in. Work quality appears to have recently gone down while prices have only risen higher.***STORE REPLY EDIT***Unfortunately I didn't take video or pictures of the two issues that originally caused my Truck to fail (though I contemplated it). While I felt they were frivolous, I am not an expert and was not the primary reason for my original review. I submitted the Police report right before picking up the truck the same day it was reported to me on 11/30/22. If you'd like the report number, please feel free to send me an email and I'd be happy to provide it. I've now been told three separate reasons for why they were unable to further investigate. I was told by the Police operator that the ticket stated the footage was too grainy, I've been told by a member of your staff that the perpetrators used a stolen vehicle and now I'm told that the video doesn't even exist. Of the three the last explanation is the most irritating because it suggests that either you weren't made aware of a crime that happened on your business' property, or that you did know but didn't care and chose to let it be deleted anyway. Finally it's worth noting that I don't expect your prices to be even near DIY. I do however want them to be honest and the last few bills that I've been quoted were 50x more expensive than the price of the replacement part itself and were not difficult jobs.The ultimate reason for my poor review is the fact that I received both poor quality work and poor customer service. Until now I'd hardly even received an apology for the theft. I don't expect you to stand outside your business and guard it at night but I do expect effective security. Great shop. I have been coming here for over a decade. It was locally owned but was bought out a few years ago, but all the staff seems the same. I have never had concerns with their prices or trustworthyness.

When Lee's Summit Honda couldn't get me in for an A/C check for 4 days I was able to bring my car in to Midwest the next day. I was impressed with the waiting room, the friendliness of the staff, and my freon was topped off within two hours. I was especially pleased with my AAA discount. No more dealership for me. Ended up on the side of the road on my way out of town. Pulled over, engine was steaming and there was orange fluid splattered all over under the hood. Called AAA for a tow and they took me here. They looked at it and said there was something wrong with the power steering system, which I had just fixed. They charged me $900 to replace everything that needed done. On the way home from the shop, Ig broke down again so we drove it back to the shop. When we called them the next day they said that the engine was blown and they NEVER plugged in the diagnostic. Now, I have to sell it and try to buy a new one. Also, they had me wait for a week just to get it back

Sitting in their clean waiting area, using their free Wi-Fi while waiting on my oil change and tire rotation. These people are great. And to think, I went to the Adams Toyota for this today and was turned away. I called and Tim was able to get me in today. Needless to say, I’d rather bring my business here and will continue to do so! ?

Fast service, friendly staff, fair pricing, clean waiting room and the best part - my tire was patched perfectly after the same tire was improperly patched 2x earlier in the week by another local tire shop. I will only come to Midwest Auto Clinic / Good Year from now!
