Refused to sell me live mice to feed a snake...Said they're only sold as pets.
Then I asked if I could buy two as pets. Denied.
Not interested in your personal views, just wanted to give you my money and buy the mice.
So lame.

My friend and I live in the country, about an hour away from PetSmart. Earlier this week we made an online appointment to have two outside dogs bathed and de-matted. These dogs are going to a new home later this week.
We arrived to PetSmart yesterday. When we arrived they told us the dogs were too matted to get bathed. The grooming team felt the dogs fur, and got a good look at the both of them to see what they would need done. They said nothing about the ticks that the dogs have. They said they often groomed outside dogs, many of which are the same breed. They instructed us to return in the morning at 8 am, when they would have ample time to groom the dogs, and apologized profusely. They also offered us a 15% off discount for the inconvenience of our long drive.
We returned to PetSmart at 8 am the following day. We waited in line for 15 minutes only to be told that the dogs have too many ticks to groom. The dogs both get flea and tick treatment on a regular basis. We spoke to the manager about this (the same one that we spoke to yesterday) and she told us she could sell us a tick treatment and return in 24 hours.
Moral of the story: I don’t mind driving an hour to PetSmart. I actually don’t even mind driving an hour to PetSmart two days in a row. But the lack of communication during this exchange is irritating. And for them to offer to SELL us a tick treatment and come back felt rude, especially after traveling there two days in a row. If policy states that the dogs have too many ticks to groom, just let me know. I never leave bad reviews but I wanted to make sure nobody else wastes their time if they are looking to get their outdoor dog groomed.

Do not take your dogs here for grooming. They couldn’t even handle a simple nail trim without quicking my dog multiple times. Then the groomer was rude telling me I shouldn’t have even brought him in like it was my fault she cut his nails too short and made him bleed. Will never return.

I had an women that was so gentle with my puppy that has anxiety that gave me hope for the groomers at this store which is why I continued to go. But when took her back and other people did her they did really bad. So I waited a month and a half to get the groomer I liked to become available and when I came in, she wasn't there and it was the other groomer!!! I didn't say anything because my puppy needed groomed because it had already been so long and I thought I'd see if they did a better job... They did not. My dog had a matte of fur under her leg after her grooming.

Always has what I’m looking for! This store is also very clean and tidy. There usually isn’t a long line for checkout so it’s easy to have a quick in and out shop.

I love the petsmart lees summit location to get my dog food and fish supplies. Today was so disappointing, a lady with her older shih tzu who just got done grooming was standing in line checking out. The dog peed on the floor in the check out line, the lady told the 19 year old cashier that her dog was having an accident. He didn’t do anything about it. I stood there in shock. She asked if there was anything to clean the mess up. This kid directed her to the “clean up station” to clean it up herself!!! I cleaned it up for her because I’m not making a lady who’s holding her elderly dog pick up a small puddle of urine!!! He didn’t say anything about it and completely ignored it. Terrible customer service.

They were very friendly and helpful when I was looking for a pet mouse today. I wanted a female and they only had males, but they went through a great deal of effort to help us find a place nearby that sells female mice. I will definitely be coming back if I have any other pet needs in the future.
