Our daughter has been going to Pruters for 14 months. It has been exciting to see her grow as a person and improve physically. The confidence that she has gained in class has carried over into her every day life. The older students are excellent mentors and provide excellent instruction. I really appreciate the family friendly setting of the studio and staff. After our daughter graduates the Future Kids she intends the continue her training in the color belt program. I highly recommend any of the Pruters studios. This is a response to Hoofleproof. Both her and her father did classes and I knew both. I thought both were good people. When in competitive TKD, unfortunately there are weight classes. My daughter struggles with maintaining her fighting weight and has to try to lose 3-6 lbs prior to competitions often. Never have I heard the instructors or other competitors say anything derogatory towards my daughter or each other about weight. Hoofleproof was not fight competitively, so there wouldn't be a reason for that to be brought up.Hoofleproof's skill level was not on par with the other students in the competition program. This is normal. It takes years to become a refined TKD competitor. With that said, Hoofleproof would get paired up with those with more experience. Please remember, this is the advanced class. The traditional classes are not as intense. Often students can become overwhelmed with this. This is normal. My then 7 yr old daughter went through the intense endurance training and sparring. She did well. These classes are different than traditional TKD. The students in these classes train extremely hard year round, for themselves, not because an instructor is making them.To any potential parents looking to enroll their children, don't let that review prevent you from joining. I have been attending classes for about 8 years, my daughter is going on 10 years. I've seen all different types of children come through those doors. I stand by my statement, if your child needs more confidence, more focus and to become more respectful, this is a great way to do so.My daughter will be testing for her 3 Dan black belt in early 2024.

In their advanced Peak classes they show extreme favoritism. If you weren’t among their favorites you couldn’t do anything to get in their good graces. Me and another person were weight shamed. Another person was constantly being yelled at and called a disgrace. Was told my technique was wrong and when I tried to explain my body couldn’t do the thing I was called talking back and they expected me to fix my “issues”. If you didn’t explain and continued doing what you did you would get push ups as punishment for not doing the exercise correctly. Either way you got punished. Got anxiety from going there as long as I did. I got looked down from the instructors. Would not recommend.

We love this place. Our son is 6 and they take the time to work with him individually (especially Eagan) to be able to participate in class. There isn't a lot of yelling and the instructors have all been great. It's affordable and I'm glad this is where we landed.

The training is amazing. The expectations are high, the examples are life long. I can not express how much this experience has meant to our family. It is worth every dime!! The instructors are first class. The community is incredible.

This place has taught my son a lot. He pays attention better and listens. He still has his occasional stuff going on but he has learned to talk in a more grown up way rather than like a toddler. The teachers are always very friendly.

Our son has been going to Pruter's since right before his 5th birthday and absolutely loves it. Not only does it keep him active, it has given him a sense of pride and self-worth. He's committed to seeing it through to his black belt and beyond, which will absolutely provide him with some life lessons that I hope he carries through to adulthood.

I went here when I was ten years old, and Grand Master Pruter taught me alot, and everything he taught me not only kept me safe, but made me realize that I can be a better person. Tae Kwon Do isn't about fighting, but mostly self respect and for others, along with self defense. This place is the best of the best, without a doubt

My grandson attends Taekwondo at Pruter’s Taekwondo Martial Arts! Not only does he get good exercise during his class they also teach manners, respect, and control. It is very family oriented and a lot of parents either join their children in class or they go and watch their children participate. It has been one of the best things we have done for our grandchild. He loves going to Taekwondo.

I have had my son in Pruter’s Taekwondo academy for about a year. He loves to attend the classes and in the span of one year I have been very impressed with his improvements in his martial arts skills but more importantly this Taekwondo academy and the instructors have truly helped him with his emotional development. The whole atmosphere at this academy radiates a deep heartful compassion toward all of their students and families from the top down. Grateful for and highly recommend this school.

My son is now 9 years old and has been going here for Taekwondo for 4 years now and they have taught him a lot! I feel good as a parent knowing that my child can take care of himself if need be. Mrs. Pruter and her staff are really good with the children and have a lot of patience. I am so pleased with this business that my son will remain with Mrs. Pruter even when we move to another city soon. I will travel the extra miles this way just to make sure he stays with her because you can’t pay enough for good instructors who really love what they do and it shows in how they teach and prepare our children for not only their next level in the sport but also their next level in life! That’s right, the lessons they teach our kids can be and will be applied to much more than just the sport! . . . This is a bill of ours that we will always incorporate in our household expense because it’s well worth it.

My son has been going here for about a year now, other than him learning how to protect his self, they teach him so much more. He's broken out his shyness for the most part, confidence is getting better.
