We rented a storage space for about 1 year. Signing up and using the site was problem free. The only issue I would note is that our rent went up twice in an year for a total of 35% increase each month.
However, when we tried to cancel it was a nightmare. I cancelled online including our move out date. I then followed up with an email and then later a phone call to be sure (I received no response to the online move out or the email or the phone call). As the move out date came I called again and was transferred to the national desk after the local office did not answer. They were no help saying I had to talk to the local office.
I was then billed for the next month so I called 3 more times in the course of 2 days - once I got the national line, once I was transferred to a location in Chicago, and finally I got through to someone at the location who confirmed the move out and cancelled the errant billing.
I then was sent a survey and I spelled out the same thing I have above including asking for someone to provide help and I have not heard from anyone now weeks later.
