I went in today to buy Jimmy Choo Fever (my new favorite scent) and also ask for help with a lip product. I am 52 and have very fine lips... truth be told I have prob never done my lips right and it's gotten worse since I've gotten older. Heather (I believe she is a manager) helped me so much!! I walked out with a liner and lipstick that I basically cannot mess up lol. The store was very busy too! So grateful for her help!!!

I was looking to try out a goth look but I had no idea what I was looking for. I showed the lady at the store an idea of what I was going for and she was able to get everything I needed. I was nervous going in there, but they made me feel very welcome.

Rude cashier. Just stood there while I was struggling with finding the coupon that I had up and their app when it glitched and went away. Which after I calmed down outside the store it was on the home page. You'd think they would know their promotions. Or at least be willing to do more than just stand there with a disgusted look on their face
Ended up walking out and purchasing elsewhere. I won't be back. I'd rather shop elsewhere.

Crooked haircut and charged extra for an ugly blowout.
I called and booked a hairdresser with experience cutting curly or wavy hair.
I wanted a 2 inch trim from bottom, side bangs and face framing. She asked if I wanted a blowout and I said yes, but in that case please wash my hair. When styling my hair she asked if I used an iron. I said I use it to smooth out curls and frizz. She proceeded to iron my hair flat from root getting rid of all my volume and styling my bangs unflattering flat but very round, I was left looking terrible. I asked her, can you fix that? I told her to just put bangs towards side hair. She said she would give me the flat iron to fix it myself. When I stood up, I saw a few longer hair in back she had missed. I asked her do you see that? Can you please cut that? She did. Then she said, “I am going to finagle with your receipt.”
When I went to pay I saw two charges $47 for hair cut and she added $34 for the hideous blow out. Also, she never told me there was an extra charge for her hideous blowouts. It’s was not a blowout she flat ironed my hair. She didn’t give me the softness and bounce of a blowout. My total was $81! I felt guilty she didn’t know how to style my hair. For her time and effort I gave her a $12 tip, even though I was left looking ugly. I went into a shop near by and I saw my reflexion in a mirror, I realized my face framing is crooked. I drove back to Ulta. My hairdresser was gone, I showed my hair to the other hair dresser that was there earlier, and asked if she could fix it. She acknowledged the issue, said no, and turned away. I then I showed the manager my issue. She was staring not responsive. I asked do you see this? She said well did you make sure she was framing your face? I told her I didn’t micromanage her. Then she said, well did you change your parting? I said no, I walked out like this. I told her I just spent $93. I could have done a better job than this. She said I will book you in again at no charge. At that point I realized it’s not the first time they give me a bad experience. I never want to go back to that ulta salon. I just told her to forget it.
It has been frustrating dealing with this salon. 2 years ago I got highlights at that ulta, after 2 washes toner came out. I was booked in to fix it, first she said no charge to apply toner. She put in a copper toner, which was not the cooler shade I got last, which was to camouflage grays. At this point I feel like an experiment with useless hair products. That hair dresser told me these products don’t work, I can do a better at home with other products. She then gave me a receipt to pay for toning my hair, and said next time I won’t charge you. I realized she lied, and misled me. I gave a tip for time and effort.
Proceed to ulta salon at your own peril.
I wasted my time and money there, my hair cut is bad and I feel foolish for giving them another chance. It’s frustrating experiences, last night I cried when you got home. If I was going out I would’ve had to put my hair up after spending an additional $34 on stupid looking hair. You can do it better at home.

Rose was fantastic! We talked about what I was wanting, and then she offered a few suggestions. Soon after, I left and purchased everything she recommended. I would recommend this location to everyone. I am a beginner at this, and everything she did built up my confidence.

I’ve gotten my hair done here twice, first time was just to style. I asked for loose curls and I left with my hair completely straight. Second time I tell her I want my bangs and ends dyed red, my bangs are red but my ends are a reddish purple. I ended up just having to leave like that cause I couldn’t afford for her to try to fix it again. Mind you I asked in the beginning if she could get them the same color because my bangs were a lot lighter than my tips and she assured me she could. My hair does look good but it’s definitely not what I payed her to do.
