I go here quite often to get my decorations and craft supplies. Today I went in and found an item on the back priced $5, savers had it listed for $5.99. When I asked the manager he informed me that the people who put the pricing on it should have taken off the original $5 sticker.
He also informed me that even as a manager he can’t change the price.
Not like it matters but last time I will be shopping at savers.

The books are overpriced compared to the other thrift stores in Liberty. Otherwise, excellent selections and helpful employees.

I really hate posting this because Savers in Liberty is one of my favorite thrift shops. I recommend it all the time. But, there are some things that need improvement here.
1. As other reviews have mentioned some of the prices for these items are insane. I too have seen dollar tree bins and decor items that are priced higher than what DT sold it for. They don't even try to remove the other sticker, nor do they care. I swear I saw a pasta jar for sale once. Not every donated item needs to end up on the sale floor.
2. Okay here is my main issue. Cleanliness. In the past year I have picked up numerous items that are beyond dirty, some even had blood on them. They don't wash ANYthing before it get placed out to sell, buyer beware. AND BUGS. I picked up a salt rock lamp that looked FILTHY, I looked inside the lamp and it was infested with dozens of bedbugs. I alerted staff, and they removed the item but still not okay. I was just in last week and picked up a clothing item from the skirt section. Thought I saw something move. I did. It was a giant roach crawling on it.
I will be taking a break from this store and if I do return it will be with gloves and airtight bins to quarantine any items I do buy.

The gentlemen who are outside that collect used goods are very nice. Had a few employees on the inside that gave me a bad taste. Had 2 cut in front of me when looking at clothes and jewelry with a 10 month old in tow. No excuse me etc. Killed it actually for me. I don't appreciate people coming into my direct space.

Editing my 5 star review from 8 years ago down to 2 stars because of the rediculous high prices now and inconsistent pricing. Do you guys just hand the pricing gun to workers and tell them to make up a random number? On the same day I found two drinking glasses that were exactly the same and in the same condition. One was 1.99 and the other was 19.99. I shop here because I'm poor and I can't even afford to shop here anymore. It's strange when brand new clothing at other stores is more affordable that used clothing at a thrift store.

Just had the worst experience! I’ve shopped here weekly for years but the disrespect from their manager today was not tolerable. I had a donation coupon which did not work. The manager who said his name was Alexander said that my coupon had already been used and that policy said that he could not help me. I donate almost every time I come to the store and was just given this coupon by their staff outside! I feel disrespected as all I wanted was 20% off of my 15 dollar transaction but was rudely told no with no consideration. I don’t care what policy says, I’m not trying to take advantage of a thrift store for a $3 savings. Stop being rude and treat your customers right.

Great customer service. No shorts past September 1st! So dont go looking for fall sales on summer clothes. Not a huge toy/puzzle section. Did get a table and lamp.

They were holding books because their system was down. The crabby employee wouldn’t take my phone number. I called. Fire days end to ask if they would hold overnight since the system wasn’t up until an hour before close. They said yes. The next morning they didn’t have my books I’m so disappointed at their lack of customer service That wouldn’t have happened at the Barry road store

Ok when you have dollar tree product in there and you price it at 5.99 used AND it's from dollar tree ...it makes me question the business practices and ethics.
Yall have GOT to be kidding me.
Then I ho to see jeans , they're placed sideways now and I cannot tell you how much that is annoying. So now I have to pull them off the rack ,hold them up and get a look and place them back on yhe racks. You're supposed to make shopping easier not harder . Then let me get started on pricing again. Absolutely ridiculous pricing now. Yall ate seriously asking new prices for USED clothing. Example.. t-shirts from Walmart I have literally purchased myself is bow at savers for almost double the price NEW.
Thank god it's still garage sale season and also other choices. People shop thrift stores for pricing and convenience and savers isn't offering either at this point.
DO BETTER

Savers is big, but that’s about it. It’s not especially clean or organized, and the prices are way too high for a thrift store. There are no daily markdowns, and even with special discount days for seniors and essential workers, the deals aren’t great. I saw Dollar Tree items priced at $2–$3! For most things, it’s honestly cheaper and easier to just buy new. Disappointing overall.
