“Super duper clean place. Probably one of the few Dollar Trees that I have seen that are clean, organized and not chaos. They had a wide selection of things, everything stocked, multiple employees, not just one poor employee running around doing everything. Great little store.”

I stopped in to purchase balloons for my nephew’s birthday, and there was only one register open with just one employee working — Cliff. There were 6+ people waiting in line behind me, so Cliff politely asked for assistance. The manager, Jay, came up and said, “Yeah, I’m not helping, I’m on break.”
I honestly couldn’t believe what I heard.
The only reason this review isn’t completely negative is because of Cliff. He handled the entire situation professionally, stayed calm under pressure, and kept helping customers like a pro despite having no support.

The savings they offer on quality items make the time spent visiting the store very worthwhile.
I shop not only for myself, but also for my church pantry. I buy in bulk for the pantry and I love the smaller containers of catsup, mayo, and shelf stable whole milk I can get at Dollar Tree.
Some Dollar Trees are kept in much better shape than others. I particularly like the staff, organization, cleanliness, and self checkout available at the Independence Location at the corner of 23rd street and MO-291.”

“Wish I could give more than 5 stars to Joshua, Dollar General Market in P-Hill. Arrived tonight with less than 3 mins till closing, which did NOT make the other employees happy and they weren't shy in showing it! I made it out of the store in time due to his assistance!! Joshua greeted me with a smile and was extremely kind and helpful!!

“Love this store out of the all the ones in the area, the ones in lone jack and kingsville just suck. The older lady that works here is a hoot and we love her smirky attitude. She says how it is and loves do her job. Haven't seen anyone else there put as much heart into the job as she does....great job hun.”
“Was looking for a few small items which they had in stock. This is a new store, very clean and neat. Lots of grocery items, and it looks like more coming. Will shop there again.”
“Was greeted as I walked in the door. Was asked if I needed assistance on finding anything. Didn't wait very long in line to check out. The cashier was very friendly and attentive. She was also helpful on my questions! The only bad thing I can say is that the clearance aisle wasn't priced correctly or just no price at all.”

“Clean & friendly people. Not enough help and overcrowded isles that need stock put up. If you are in wheelchair you better bring someone to go down isles for you.”
