We absolutely LOVE Mrs Izola's! The size of the pancakes is amazing! We live just east of Jefferson City and will drive the 2 hours just to see Mrs Izola, visit, and eat the food she pours her heart into with every dish!!Food: 5/5

7 tables, very, very small place, full of hilarious and fun locals. I miss this place already. The food is like eating at Grandmas' house, nothing fancy, just GOOD, satisfying, down home breakfast with friends that you don't know yet, but want to know.

Isola's has a tasty breakfast. Tiny building with one lady cooking delicious eggs, biscuits and gravy, french toast. So good. Sweet lady. Highly recommend this restaurant for home cooking. She makes bbq for lunch.

Service was slow, staff indifferent-not friendly, food was mediocre at best and way overpriced. Took 40 minutes to get my food.

I should have taken photos before we started shoveling food but I honestly didn't think the food would be so good. It was a very tiny restaurant maybe 6 tables or so. We had breakfast and it was just some wholesome delicious old fashioned food. I would definitely stop here again and again. Its the kind of place that makes you feel like you are on an adventure.

I walked into the unassuming building, hungry and anxious to resume my road trip. All of the individual tables were occupied but there was space at the "community" table in the middle of the room. All of the diners greeted me and after a few minutes I was invited to join a couple at their table. And so I did. The company was welcomed and enlightening and the food was great. Trust small cafes. They would not survive if their food was not good.

My family and I had a great lunch today and the food was so darn good. My mom melted over the ribs! Loved the sass we got from Denise and her sweet smile! Felt like we were pulled into her home for a meal at her family table! We will be back!
