My physician called in the Z-Pack 3:09 PM on 01-05-2023, he called me and told me it was done. I went to the drive-through 5:14 PM a taller blonde told me she did not have a prescription for me. I asked her to look and she came back and stated they had received a call from my physician but it would take a half-hour to get it downloaded from the fax, and they were only open until 6 PM so, she said WHATEVER! In my opinion not an appropriate response. I thanked her and I returned and 5:58 PM, the lights were out and the wooden Venetian blind was closed, but from the front of the store it looked like there was a light on.Please do not tell me one thing into another. CVS hours are pretty will set, you are a big corporation, so if you tell me that my prescription will be ready in a half-hour and then you close to minutes early, this does not sit well with me. I will also tell you I usually give only compliments and have had great interaction with your staff but today [around 8:30 AM 01-06-23] there was a lady that was multiracial with a camo jacket on and could certainly work on her attitude. I understand some of us are not morning people. Maybe she should not be running the window so early in the morning because her tone was not good. It was like she didn't want to be there but what I told her what happened the night before, she was more pleasant and she got the pharmacist Hannah and she was extremely pleasant and nice. Again, the only way were going to be seen in the public eye is if we follow through and follow-up on our commitment to when a prescription is called in at 3:09 PM and I finally get a notice at 7:04 PM an hour after you closed. And again, remember I was there at 5:58 PM.9 times at 10 I will write a letter of complement so this is a rarity for me because I know how difficult people can be. I have been a chiropractic physician for 41 years and I always take the time to send a positive response. This is not a positive response, except for Hannah being extremely professional, polite and kind. Maybe you need to get people at the window that exude the same work ethic, not just I am here to put my time in. Sorry I don't used to give my opinion, Dr. T. Thurman 660-385-1000 office number

I have never heard of a CVS closing at 1pm on Saturday and not being open on Sundays!! I am new to Macon Missouri and I really should have looked at the times they were open but I figured they would run similar hours as every other CVS in the country it wasn't until after I had my first prescription supposed to be getting sent in that I found out there closing at 1:00 on Saturdays!! And that they're not open on Sunday! This is prescription that I need and now I'm out of it for even longer than I've already been without it ????

Waited 30 minutes in line, & then another 30 minutes at the window for prescriptions that were called in at least 9 hours prior. Worst insurance & drug coverage to exist.

I had constant issues getting my prescriptions on time and the last straw was when I asked several times for the pharmacy to send over a prescription request to my doctor's office so I can get it refilled. After calling the office and pharmacy several times one of the ladies at cvs hung up on me because they claimed they sent it 3 times already. Turns out they were sending it to the wrong fax number even though they've faxed them before and knew the actual number. I've been a customer with them since I was a kid and it was still Red Cross pharmacy and finally I had enough of waiting for prescriptions days past the refill date as someone who needs certain medicines to literally keep me alive I knew it was in my best interest to switch pharmacies. I haven't had a single problem with any of my medicines not filling on time or anything since. I will say they are under staffed and understand they have a lot of business and typically aren't unkind and I've known some ilof them for years but when it comes to getting my insulin I just can't be so lenient with how long it takes to get things processed because my life is at stake.

I called to check the status of my auto renew script. I will not reveal names, but the person that answered my call made me feel like just taking my call was a major imposition. Throughout the call, there was a lot of sighing and complaining about one technician being at lunch and another called in. I remained patient while just trying to obtain the information that I needed. When I asked the cost of the medication, I was told, "it's the same as last month." I decided to not tell her that I had a new plan and ended the call.Hope this helps someone. SP
