Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic bank. They always have time to help, always have time to assist, and despite the annoyance of having to call every time to raise daily limits, that's actually a fairly decent stipulation. It simply forces you (and any would be thief) to call first before a significantly large purchase can go through. The app is fantastic, intuitive, and has saved me hardship a lot (due to fraudulent charges being prevented). My only reason why I give three stars is because the hours. Closing at 4:30 on a Friday has always been an inconvenience. I would get off at 5 and be unable to visit the bank for x, y, z reasons. Also, the inability to get a hold of anyone to raise your limit on the weekends is a bit of an annoyance. I hope they set up a 24 hour call center or add an ability to up the daily limit within the app; I'd be more than happy to change my rating to a 5 then.

Not good bank if your going for loan do not trust or believe what there saying they will west your time at the end even everything is ok they will say they can’t do it without any reason so before you apply for loan make sure take everything in writing because they will lie so I will never even prefer this bank we r business owner not a bagger but that’s how this bank will treat you

recently did a remote deposit on a check and they declined it saying my signature wasn't visible. So I resent the images got the message back stating it had been approved this was all on Friday. Monday comes still no money in my account call them and was told they would call me right back. 30 minutes later I called them and they stated it should process later in the evening. How does a deposit approved on Friday take till Monday evening to hit my account. Horrible horrible service

We have been with this bank for 20 years. They have the most professional staff around. They are never to busy to help anyone. I can call or email the bank and either I get right through or someone returns my phone or email message within thirty minutes. We love the hometown service we get from this bank.

I am very happy with my experience with this bank. I have a business account set up here, and anytime that I need anything, (reports, history, etc.) they easily get me the information; no matter how complex. Other banks that I have used in the past try and charge fees for this service, and often times provide me with the wrong information, or tell me that can't even get the information at all. For example, if you call in and ask a question like: "How much total interest did I pay in 2016 on that one loan that I paid off sometime around early spring or so of 2018... Uh, I don't know the loan number but it it was for around $23,000ish dollars I think.. I can't really remember when I first got the loan, but I think it was in 2014 possibly... Oh, and what was the current balance as of Dec 31 2016? (Sadly, I've done this before.) By virtue of my personal experience, I would be willing to bet they will get you this exact information within seconds. No other bank that I've worked with has been able to, or at least has been willing to answer questions like this correctly... Or it literally takes them days or even weeks to get me the information (while the entire time they are charging me fees, contacting other branches that can access more information and making me feel like I am being a complete burden to them). Macon Atlanta State Bank operates with a very streamlined and efficient system, and has excellent employees that know how to use it effectively. Even as another bonus, I've found their website and app to be more user friendly and effective than many of the other banks. Especially other local banks. In my opinion, MASB's app and website in terms of effectiveness is as good as many of the massive banks that I've worked with, and even far better than some of them.
