I just want to say that the Madison Dollar General store is by far the best Dollar General I've been to in a long time. The lady working was so friendly and outgoing. It was a breath of fresh air to have such a warm welcome and smile when walking in the door. Some of the other surrounding stores should model the same environment that Madison has. The difference between them are night and day.

Regular road Dollar general but the place is so packed full of stuff the aisles are so narrow you have to really really look for things but usually able to get what I need at a reasonable price

Well, I went in there with a plan and got my stuff with no wasted steps or having to double back or even search for anything. Nope. I had thought this little excursion out step by step to the very second. My clock read and I walked out of there with my $43.78 of purchases after 6 minutes and 52 seconds. That's got to be a record,mayne. Yeah, I'm single. How did you know?
