Goodwill Store and Donation Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that accepts donations and sells them at affordable prices. The revenue from the sale of donated goods helps fund employment services and Excel Centers, which are tuition-free high schools for adults to obtain their diplomas. Customers praise the easy donation drop-off process and the friendly, helpful staff, particularly an employee named Taylor who is described as professional, reliable, and sweet. The store is clean, well-organized, and offers great finds, especially in the toy and home goods sections. However, some customers express disappointment with the lack of fitting rooms and the high prices of certain items, which they feel are not in line with Goodwill's mission of helping the disadvantaged. The owner is encouraged to reconsider the pricing structure to make the store more accessible to those in need. Overall, the Goodwill Store and Donation Center provides a valuable service to the community, but there is room for improvement in terms of pricing and amenities to better serve its customers.
I'm giving them a 5 for the great customer service, the cashier who waited on me yesterday was an awesome gal, I enjoyed her conversation and local knowledge of STL.
Idk if the store was picked over, but compared to other locations there was not much clothing, however the furniture and odd n ends were well stocked!
