I have only been to the Manchester Rd. location, and it has been consistently a pleasant experience. The selection is varied without the immensity and tightness of the largest regional chain retailers, and pricing is every bit as competitive with them, sometimes with a favorable surprise to the wallet or purse.

Didn’t appreciate the snarky comments from the older man behind the counter who was more interested in showing off how much he knew about wine rather than walking out from behind the counter to help me find a nice bottle. I was willing to spend $50 on an extra nice red until that experience which left such a bad taste in my mouth I couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

I have been shopping at their stores for 15 years and was just very disappointed by their service and overall process. I had tried to buy a hard to find whiskey and was told they would not take an over the phone order which I had done once before. I was told I couldn't do that and had to place an online order through their online website since I couldn't come in that day. I placed the order and got 2 email confirmations. The next day I received a cancellation email stating they couldn't ship it to me. When calling them I was told they have never done an over the phone sell (false as I bought a bottle a few years earlier like that) and that I was just out of luck. No I'm sorry for the mistake or mixup, or I can see how this happened and let's do something to make it up. Only to bad not our problem. I don't spend thousands each year with them, but have definitely spent a few thousand over the years, so to have it handled like this was extremely disappointing to say the least.
