Rudest pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in the St Louis area. Not once, not twice but multiple occasions. They're not only rude they don't know how to work their system to accommodate 90 day prescriptions and won't synchronize your prescriptions. I thought they were just ageist but nope, overheard them being rude to everyone.

If you need to call and speak to anyone be prepared to be on hold for an hour. When they pick up be ready to speak immediately or they will hang up and you can call back and spend another hour on hold.I once was given medication with no instructions useable instructions on how to take it. They put the instructions for pre-packaged does when they the gave me the unpre-packaged doses. Other than it having a drive through there is no reason to use this pharmacy. Go elsewhere if you can.

I sent an order for over 100 photos online and picked up/paid for in store (Maplewood, MO location). Now at no time during this did the person behind the counter hand me the envelope to look at them, nor did I ask (my mistake #1) as I was in a hurry—they kept them in front of them and processed my order/payment before handing them to me. I looked at them that night when I got home and the color was SO over-saturated that you couldn’t see a lot of the details, and others were zoomed in and cut off. I thought this was strange because NONE of them were filtered or touched up in any way. So I looked at reviews online and CVS in general had negative reviews for over saturation (my mistake #2: no research). I called the store and asked about the refund policy and was told by the manager there was none—they do not refund on pictures. I told her everything that was wrong with them and she said we just print them how they’re sent to us and we don’t refund. So I called Corporate instead and they said I had to go in-store for a refund since they were paid there, but was told to call back if I have a problem. Call #2 to store manager I was told they don’t refund and I have to go through Corporate if I want that. Call #2 to Corporate and THEY said pictures are 100% happiness guaranteed or money back and the store should be refunding me. So they called and talked to the Manager and then told me she would be refunding me. However, manager told her they have a policy where they have the customer review the pictures before payment processing to be sure they’re right. Like I said, didn’t happen and told Corporate they ignored their own policy then. Nevertheless, went up to the store immediately for my refund, and the Manager told me that in the future they will not process my photos because they have “no a refund policy.” I can of course admit my mistake in not reviewing beforehand. HOWEVER, when 1) Corporate says you DO have a refund policy, and 2) you tell Corporate your policy is to show the pictures before they’re given to the customer and you don’t, then you have an obligation to take responsibility for your actions and correct the mistake. The only response was “we don’t have a refund policy,” not even an offer to try and re-print. And on top of that to blacklist a customer from future orders because you, Manager Adrienne, are now mad for not getting your way is just petty. So all I can say is Thank You to Patty at Photo Corporate for acknowledging and offering a solution, and DO NOT have your photos done at this CVS.

While asking the cashier to check me out, she said "there's self check out right there." WHILE SHE WAS ON THE CLOCK GETTING PAID TO BE A CASHIER. I wanted her to take care of it because I always pay partially in cash when I have cash on me, and the remainder on my card, so I do not get coins back. When I was having issues getting the multi-payment working, and asked her if she can just help me, she stated "maybe you should help yourself and put money in your bank account." Horrible experience- no one should talk to anyone like this. Came back in later in the day, as I was busy at the time, to speak with a manager- and one was not on sight. I would avoid this CVS, as the person in charge of hiring, obviously is not hiring qualified people. After going back to speak with the manager once she is back in, I will NEVER be back. UPDATE- I came in tonight June 20, 2021 and spoke with the manager and explained what went on. All she had to say was OK. Not I'm sorry for your interaction here, I apologize for how she spoke to you, nothing. Just looked me in the face and said OK. Definitely escalating this to customer relations.

UPDATE #2 - now I am giving 5 stars because when I received the correct prescription BY MAIL, a handwritten apology was on the stapled prescription paper with an acknowledgment of THEIR pharmacy error; PLUS A $10 Rewards Bucks Coupon! Wow, this pharmacy manager is outstanding and needs a raise. He turned this situation completely around! Thank you. UPDATE: called a pharmacy manager next morning who promptly offered an apology and fixed the whole situation quickly, seamlessly, efficiently, professionally, and respectfully. Brianna Flanagan is the name of the horribly incompetent and rude "the pharmacist" from yesterday early evening who made the issue worse than it already was. Changing 1review from 1 star to 4. Not a 5 because Brianna still works there and desperately needs intensive customer service training.

Went in a little after 8am this morning. There was no cashier or anyone working at all. I called out 3-4 times "hello, anyone working here?" No response. Maybe they were in the bathroom? I left my stuff on the counter and walked out. Someone could have robbed the place and CVS would have no clue until they reviewed the video cameras. Someone was

This review relates to the pharmacy only. The staff here have very little discretion when it comes to discussing sensitive client information in front of store employees and other customers. The pharmacy staff use a computer across the pharmacy to check on the status of your medications when you walk in to pick up a prescription, this requires the customer to share their medical information audibly enough for the tech to hear across the pharmacy. They will ask your name, date of birth, and the medications you are picking up - so if you feel uncomfortable sharing this information loudly enough for all of the pharmacy employees, and nearby store guests and employees to hear; I would suggest using a different pharmacy. Walgreens at Clayton and Big Bend is very close and has a much more confidential pharmacy. I have filled my Rx here 3 times, and 2 of the 3 left me feeling very embarrassed by the pharmacy staff. The first time I had to shout my name, DOB, medications across the pharmacy. The next time the pharmacist read my medications to me from across the pharmacy as they were pulled from the bin; loudly enough for all customers in line behind to hear which medications I take. If your medication is out of stock they cannot switch it to a different location for pick up, or return your Rx to fill elsewhere. The only option is to wait for the new order to arrive. Last time this happened to be I went 8 days without my medication as I was waiting for CVS's new order to arrive. I only started going to CVS because my insurance provider told me that my Rx's would be less expensive at CVS. One Rx is less than $1 cheaper and the other two cost a few dollars more than they did at Walgreens. I'm going to switch back.

Nice and helpful staff. Have what I need. They should have paper towels in bathroom!! I hate hand dryers. They are noisy and I don't want to touch bathroom fixtures after washing my hands!!

It's a drug store. A chain drug store and it meet my needs. I was at the dentist awhile back and they took my blood pressure before they started work on my implants. I was a BP monitor style that I had not seen before and it was a CVS brand. Instead of a regular cuff that I'd have to put around my arm, this one slipped over the wrist. So easy. My regular doctor wants me to check my BP on the regular, so I came here to buy one. It was an easy find in the store and a great value when compared to the Omron brand also available in the store. Store was well organized and the staff was able to answer my questions about my investment in a new BP monitor. I'll be back? - I own stock in Walgreen's, but I just may be back to this store. They did a good job.

I go to this CVS due to proximity to my house i didn't want to keep driving to Target when i have this pharmacy nearby. The store never has a lot of people in it and it's more expensive than Target for similar products. They always greet me when i walk in the door but that's about as helpful as they are. I always hear the staff gossiping or they will complain about other customers to me when I'm checking out. Someone who seemed like a manager was talking to a pharmacist about writing up an employee that couldn't come in for a childcare issue in front of me while i was checking out instead of in private or behind the counter. I will continue to shop here when I'm in a bind but it may be worth it to make the drive to Target.

Very convenient location with a drive-thru. Service has always been friendly and quick. They always have plenty of coupons and sales going on. I only wish they were open later.
