They can get your mail out, but there seems to be no motivation to make it a great experience. Slow, rude, and downright disrespectful to everyone I’ve watched them interact with. As long as you go in with no expectation of customer service, you’ll get out ok.

They have the worst customer service ever. If you don’t like interacting with people, don’t take a job where it’s a requirement.

I had my wedding invites to mail out. The front desk lady was super friendly and helpful (so sorry I didn’t catch your name!). She let me know which stamps I needed for my invites and while this location didn’t have all the stamps I needed, she let me know which locations to check out to get the stamps. She was so helpful and helped relieve a good amount of stress I’d been having regarding the invites.

RUDE!!I walked in and there was no one to be seen. I could hear them in the back so I walked up to the counter so they could see someone was there. About a minute or so later she walked out and said "I saw you come in and you need to wait behind the line." I literally had to walk back 5 feet to the line and then she would help me. Talk about someone thinking they have some authority..Maybe put up a sign that says wait at the line we can see you? Most of the other post offices that I have been to have a bell to ring if no one is around..

The Manager Carl is so nice, he was able to hold a package I needed a signature on just before it went out on the truck for delivery, the clerk was exceedingly sweet as well.

I tried to complete a change of address form last weekend at this location. The lady there apparently didn’t follow many of the key steps needed to correctly process the request. I know this because I called the corporate USPS customer service number and they asked “did the rep take your drivers license or some other form of ID?” And I said no… The corporate rep said it would have been invalid anyways, as it sounds like they need multiple forms of ID. I also didn’t get a confirmation number and the rep didn’t share much about next steps or what was needed of me. I’m not sure why so many steps were skipped. Never the less, the corporate rep gave me a link to do the process online. At the end of it, I got a confirmation code. Now I have more peace of mind knowing it is now done correctly. With all that said, I wanted to write a review (which I never do) here to let you all know of this poor experience.

So rude and disrespectful to three different people in just this one 7min visit to this post office and the "manager" Carl I think his name is should work in the private sector not with the public when you can't control yourself from threatening the people that pay their salaryMaybe if they went over their rules and regulations more often it might help them maybe.

Just had one of the rudest experiences ever at this location--the place was empty. NO ONE in line. I seldom go here so am not overly familiar with the layout and "rules."I walked up to the window--again-NO one was in front of me-after about one minute, a female employee comes from around the corner and says, "I can't see you there--that's why the sign says to wait behind the rope. Like HE did...(she then points to a man who came in after me).Ummmm okay.I then proceed to explain I just need to hand over small prepaid mailer that wouldn't fit into the mail slot in the lobby--I was then scolded AGAIN because the window next to hers is where those are apparently left.Look-I get it-you probably deal with some rude people but you CHOSE a customer service job, lady. And you could have communicated those "rules" in a much gentler kinder manner.I am still processing this as it was literally just rudeness and horrible service from the minute I walked in the door.Someone could make a fortune doing Customer Service 101 training with the staff if they are anything like the disgruntled person who interacted with me today.

They cost me $150 by not scanning a package dropped off in the drop off window. Do not leave anything in this window, they do not scan same day & now it is lost forever.

Zilvia (spelling?) was very friendly and patiently answered my questions. Highly recommend this post office!

Zylvia made my day with just a look and "Oh girl" when she saw my tape job ?Lost label for an Amazon return for weeks and finally found it to be able to return so headed to the Post.... After realizing the full service at Big Bend closed at 5, I busted my butt to get to Maplewood by 530. Made it with only minutes to spare and her kindness, customer service, attitude couldn't have been genuine!!

This location has low stars, but that wasn't my experience at all. I did 15 min. street parking and was in and out very quickly with my two packages I had to ship. The teller was nice and we chatted about unusual postal addresses. I would much rather come here than the Shrewsbury location. I liked the interior, as well. It had an interesting look to it. Made me wonder if this location was always a postoffice.

After running to the Clifton post office(only to find it not open!), the staff at this Marshall facility went out of their way to service me. I was running late and the facility was closing, but when I explained my predicament to the staff member, she kindly let me in and took care of my mailing requests. Thanks you and have a very blessed Christmas!

Some of the staff are old school unreasonable and dark-hearted. They wouldn't give me 2 inches of scotch tape to finish sealing my box. They wanted me to buy an over priced roll of tape rather then gift me 2 inches of tape Although I told them UPS and FedEx would give it to me..They told me they charge me by having higher prices. I went to the friendly post office in Clifton Heights and they chuckled at the grinches in Maplewood, generously giving me the little tape I needed. No extra charge. Happy Days.

Purchased a PO Box online and went in to complete the process. The rude, condescending woman who works behind the counter changed my mind. I’d rather not have to deal with her. Based on the reviews this is normal. Walked out and got a refund online.
