I have purchased a very beautiful Toyota Highlander from A & J,I was quite nervous until now since the car was delivered today so seeing all the negative feedback here was not a good thing for neither of us(me and Alan) I have literally terrorized Alan all day and I want to take this chance and apologize. This being said I would like to say that this business gets 5 stars from me! Thank you very much Alan

The real A&J Motors of Marshfield, MO has NEVER had an website(s), facebook, or ebay account. These scammers are also sending fake titles, along with impersonating Alan Lamb.

Comes across as very nice and helpful. However, the title document was fake. The back was out of focus, but the "hand writing" was clear as well as the seller's signature was identical in 3 places (That never happens). Also, the font on the car's details was incorrect for California. Later I found the car on an XKE register and it was in Canada when it was supposedly registered in California.

Yes, an absolute scam. Being investigated by the FBI, apparently. Fake title document sent to me. Money asked to be wired to a bank account owner by a company called mmlinsco corp in Albany, Ga.

We have been trying to contact Alan Lamb Of A&J Motors several times in regards to a 356 and a Corvette that my husband I would like to purchase. We live in Australia so naturally would like some details before we get onto a plane and fly to USA to look the cars. We have emailed and rang him on several different numbers and each time it has gone to his message bank. This is after he requested us to email him in details of what we have requested which are all normal items such as a copy of the clear US title and all the relevant papers such as the Official Department of Motor Vehicle documents. And an invoice from his company with bank details and in the body of the email to include the stock, engine and chassis numbers.... This was several days ago and we have not received any information and he will NOT answer our calls. We have rung early in the morning, late at night and even in the middle of the night to the point where I'm starting to feel like a stalker!!! We are genuine buyers however we are starting to believe that ALAN LAMB of A&J Motors LLC Marshfield MO is not a genuine dealer or seller Just saying that we are very disappointed with the service and should we not hear from Mr Lamb soon then we will have no other choice then to search further other ways that we can express our disappointment more widely. Most frustrating experience so far!!! Its now up to Mr Lamb to contact us ASAP.

I saw a listing for a G wagon last week. I called them the day it was listed and no one answered. No one returned my phone call by the next day so I called back again. 3 Calls later and i got a hold of someone who I presume is the owner. I asked if the car was available and he said yes, I live 3 hours away so i asked if i could put a deposit down to hold the car. He said he would call me back later to get the deposit but I never received a phone call. I finally got a hold of him again after numerous calls and he said he had the car on hold for me and I reiterated I wanted to put a deposit down so it wouldn't sell. He responded with something similar to " I'm not that type of guy, if i say something i mean it" and said he would call me back later for the deposit. It's been two days and I have not heard back. Ive called him and he wont answer, i had an employee call him from a different number and he answered. He said the car was sold to someone else. Ill be reporting him and his business to the Better Business Bureau for his business practices. I lost another G wagon i was interested in because he reassured me numerous times this one was mine. STAY AWAY
