Stopped by the nursery today to look at WSM and Oaks. They have a huge selection of trees, bushes and plants and the prices are very very reasonable’ I live in northern Illinois where tree prices are 2 1/2 more expensive.
The staff especially Chris is the best!

I called Schmittel”s Nursery about spots that were on the leaves of a very old family rose bush my Mom has. It means a lot to her and it can never be replaced. When I called they were extremely friendly. They told me I could email some pictures or come on in. It was a Sunday and very close to closing time. I took pictures of the rose bush and cut off some branches and went on in. The three ladies who helped me could not have been nicer. So helpful and took the time to show and explain to me products to help my Moms rose bush, again with it being very close to closing time. Very affordable and great products! Started the process and I know if I have any other concerns they’ll help me again. I will definitely return in the future for plants now that I’ve found this wonderful nursery! Thank You to the 3 Ladies! I Appreciate You!

I purchased 5 eight foot tailored junipers along with installation. Diego and the crew showed up on time the day I was told planting would take place. The crew worked hard and made sure to place trees just where I wanted them. I had them adjust a couple of them by a few inch's and they did it no problem. The price was very good compared to other nurseys. The whole staff was helpful and knowledgeable.

Great experience with re-landscaping various parts of my yard. Scott did a great job suggesting a plan and took the time to hlep me pick out unique trees and bushes. Diego and crew worked so hard tearing out old plants and awful honeysuckle. They took great care in cutting new beds, planting everything and clean up. I am thrilled. Can't wait to do more.
On a side note, even if not getting landscaping the retail staff is also so knowledgeable and helpful. Large selection of beautiful healthy plants.

I have used schmittels for years. Just had crew come out and redo my front yard. Last time was 4 years ago on front. They always and I mean always go above and beyond. I've had over 4 are 5 different crew's through out the years and all of them have been truly awesome. And as far as plants go this place hands down the best there is. All plants amazingly healthy and in perfect shape thank you to all at schmittels

Great selection. Staff are so helpful and care. They even have little go carts to help you carry stuff. Staff goes above and beyond, very friendly. Prices were half the amount of big stores.

Charlie, from Schmittel’s Nursery helped me design my Landscaping, Diego and Emanuel did the installation of that design. Charlie had great ideas of the plants which would work for the space and we worked well together.
The installation crew were very polite and hard workers. They were on time, went straight to work and did a beautiful job.
I would highly recommend Schmittel’s Nursery for any landscaping job.

Recently had Schmittel's Nursery replace the rock steps in our yard. They did a great job, from quote to finished product. Last year they installed some rock steps and did a great job then too. We decided to go back to them this year!

Scott and his crew do great work used them for a retaining wall and for some sod in the back yard, I wouldn't use anyone else.

Great experience — I came in looking for indoor potted plants. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. I’m so glad I stopped by and am excited about my new plants and pots. Prices were less than I expected which is great.

A BIG Thank You to Scott, Diego and crew for such an outstanding job planning and installing our new trees! We are in a new home with little landscaping, Scott and team have been great with support and knowledge transforming the property from bare to beautiful. We have worked with Schmittles and Scott for many years. Customer service is always top notch and products are the best out there. Excellent work... We highly recommend.
