“This review is for the Dollar General Store on N Clay St in Memphis, MO. This afternoon when I was there the computers were down so they couldn't check anyone out. I give the tech dept a zero on the quality of help they were giving the staff in the store trying to fix the problem. Store staff gets a gold star, 100%, for trying so hard to get the problem fixed and not losing their cool with the person on the phone. Dollar General Company itself gets a big fat zero for only caring about the dollars in their pockets and not the people (store staff and customers) that put those dollars there. IT person on phone and who knows where they were at, didn't understand what staff were telling her, and she didn't give correct information as to what to do to fix the problem. Not sure she even spoke English, This went on for quite awhile. There were people in line needing to check out, but we are a rural community and waited. Not sure that would happen in a bigger community. I consider this unacceptable. If your IT people can't speak English, if they don't know what they are doing, why were they hired? The store itself is a good one, with mostly good staff. I shop there a lot.”

“Only went in for a few things and somehow ended up with a full cart—always happens here! But the checkout was surprisingly fast, probably one of the quickest experiences I’ve had at a Dollar General.”
