It was so nice to go into a store and have an employee politely ask if I needed any help. Not only that but they were friendly and knew their products to be able to offer suggestions.
Very worth the trip and the service was outstanding! Especially after going to Lowe's and being completely ignored.

Great service, just stinks that you can't grab what you need because everything is locked up. Not the stores fault, but the people shopping i suppose.

No problems other than store employees bugging to help you.
That's ok, I guess. I kinda understand that it's likely some store PR policy but if I DO need help usually there's no one to be found.
One of the skills I've developed, in life, is asking for help, on my own, if necessary.
BTW, women tend to appreciate someone offering to help more than masculine men....just a pointer from the psychology of business management.
Following me around or chasing me down and asking if I need help makes me feel crowded, like I'm being monitored or warched
As such, I'm much less likely to spend extra time browsing for things not on my list....which I kinda like to do in hardware stores, as a man
Because I feel like I have to shop covertly to avoid wandering helpers, I tend to just quickly get my stuff and get out.
This is not only an issue here, but a couple of long term employees, here, do have it honed to a fine skill.
