“My truck's brakes went out when we were at Mark Twain Lake, I needed parts badly and was over ten miles from JC Auto Parts and it was 4:30 PM, they closed at 6pm. I am from Troy, MO and was heading home after a week at the lake, and one of my rear calipers exploded. I called JC Auto parts and they first made sure they had the parts I needed, and then they made a special trip to where I was to deliver the parts I needed. He even brought an extra set of pads because my truck listing showed two different styles. When he got there he gave me his personal cell number and said to call if I needed any more parts, he would get them to me! He handed me an invoice and said to call the store and pay over the phone, then he made sure we were all good and headed out. The prices were great and the service was above and beyond. “My car died on the side of the road on my way to Kansas City. I was stranded 3 hours away with barely any phone signal. Tried calling Turpin Automotive but no one picked up. Luckily, an extremely generous and patient nearby neighbor drove me to Turpin, about 7-8 miles from my car. At the shop I met Travis, who seemed exhausted and probably overwhelmed with work, but remained friendly and helpful throughout the ordeal. He even offered to drive me to a nearby hotel if my car needed a few days to be repaired. However, he reassured me that they would try to get my car up and running as soon as possible to avoid that scenario. He was nice enough to let me stay in the office and even found an iPhone charger for me while he left to tow my car. He quickly discovered the problem. Turns out my car only ran out of gas! The gas gauge was inaccurate. It showed 2 bars left, but was actually empty. It could've been so much worse. Sure enough, they had the car up and running as soon as possible. Towing expenses and everything else came out to only $76. Which is perfect, because my insurance covers $75 for towing! No exorbitant fees, no scams, no nonsense. Seems like a good, honest business. Straight to the point. Huge thank you to Turpin Automotive, and especially to Travis, who did far more than his job required and provided outstanding service.”
