This is by far the best wrestling camp/atmosphere that I've sent my kids to. I hate going places and they spend 30 minutes warming up. There's no fluff time here. Here's the skill, here's how to perform it at a high level, now get to work. The level of competition here during the weekend is better than what my kids see at weekend tournaments for roughly the same price. We try not to miss camps here...even during wrestling season.

My daughter attended the girls leg riding camp as a commuter. I was nervous about the fact that she’s only 7. She was definitely the youngest there, but it was an amazing experience for her. They didn’t waste any time. They got several hours of drilling and live wrestling. We had one issue when her partner had to leave early the next day. She ended up drilling alone for about 15 minutes until she finally convinced a couple of older girls to let her rotate in with them. At first, I was wishing that a coach would help her find a partner, but in the end it ended up being a good confidence builder to have her navigate the issue herself and she ended up making several older girls as friends/mentors, one of which spotted her at a tournament last weekend and encouraged her. We will definitely be attending more Purler camps in the future. Ellie can’t wait to go back!

Our daughter has went to the seven day all girl Camp, and also an all girls hammer camp. And the girls leg riding camp. These are all business camps with lots of reps and live wrestling. If you come back more then once you will watch your child's wrestling each time they return.

My son has attended 4 camps so far. All of them have been outstanding and absolutely worth the money & travel. First we did the week long 3 position camp over the summer. This was a drill intensive camp that really helped ensure the basic positioning and moves were done with correct form and the repetition ensured the form would stick.Next we did the Competition Hammer Camps. These camps are excellent in allowing the wrestlers to see how the positions will actually work in a live session. These are some of my favorite camps. The basic set up is about 2 or 3 coaches run the room and ensure that each wrestler is learning the correct form and position and then they will place the wrestlers in a starting position and let them go live. I really like the attention the coaches give to the newer wrestlers to ensure they are doing the positions correctly. It is also nice to see that the coaches will go to an experienced group/ pair of wrestlers and give pointers as to what a good next move would be from their position. The fact that no group (newer wrestlers or seasoned veteran wrestlers) is neglected is good to see in a camp. We have found these hammer camps are great for keeping the detailed learning from the summer camps fresh and in tune.We will definitely continue to travel to take part in these camps. A big thanks to Nick and his team for taking the time to get these weekends put together. These camps no doubt take a lot of effort to plan and prepare for.

Our program has seen the benefits of implementing Coach Purler's system into our curriculum. We have been fortunate to have Jeremiah Reed come give direct instruction on two different occasions and look forward to hosting him again in the future. We consider ourselves fortunate to be able to access the lessons and techniques through Tony's online academy. This is a significant benefit to consider when comparing other camps and programs available.

Our son has been a part of Purler, off and on for 7 years and we do not regret it at all! Nick and his philosophy is what helped our son turn the corner. I hate that we haven't been able to attend as much as we would like but he still uses everything he has learned through the years!! I recommend Purler every chance I can and would make the same decision over and over again!! I also love the fact that Nick and his staff truly care about the kids, our son has been contacted throughout the years, when we have had deaths in the family and when he has accomplished something he had been working for!! Thank you Nick for everything!!

Great environment for your wrestler to grow. My son started at 7 and is now 14. In that time he's been given the tools to succeed in wrestling and life. Is it worth it? Absolutely. My only advice is don't stop. It's easy to say and harder to do but stay committed and do as many summer camps as you can before high school.

Purler is truly one of a kind and we are hooked! We sent my son to their 28 day camp as he was barely old enough to attend (his idea, he wouldn’t let up for months begging to go). He came back 100% a changed wrestler and child. He handles himself with much more confidence, he is eager to work hard and continue to grow in wrestling and absolutely eats, sleeps, and breathes all things Purler and wrestling. Nick and his entire team are phenomenal! They truly understand how to run a great business and their model is fine tuned. They were very responsive in the rare moment I had a question or needed something and I feel like our business is valued there. We have since gone back for another weekend camp and have another one on the calendar in a month. We will gladly make the trip an opportunity we can to soak up as much training as we can!!

My son and his team mate had a blast at this camp. They learned valuable wrestling skills to elevate their skills. According to them, the food was great and the coaches were very nice. NEGATIVES: According to the boys, there was bullying taking place, excessive cursing and unnecessary horse play. OVERALL: Great camp, there needs to be solely a camp for 12U to keep those teenagers separated from the littles. There needs to be more indoor entertainment for the kids such as Foosball, ping pong, etc. The kids were bored sitting around waiting for someone to rent spikeball. I would definitely not recommend the 14 day camp and 28 day camp for 12U unless these issues were corrected. The 5 day camps are great for the little ones.

Though camp. Not for weak. Not a lot of frills. My son has been 2x so far. 3nd time he took 2 more boys with him. 1 will return the other wasn't quite ready for this level camp. He'll sit out next year and practice closer to home.

The girls camp was amazing. My kids traveled from Georgia and loved it. They loved all the intense training and walked away with a plethora of new skills.Personal shout out to Chad and Nick for promptly handling any concerns we had. They made us feel at ease being out of state and that we left our girls in great hands.

I liked the camp and my son, Drake, learned a lot. Currently, in his first year, he has only gotten pinned in 30 seconds in all his matches instead of 10, sadly he still lost. He still loved the camp and was inspired to eat healthily with ice cream and donuts to get that royal victory. I feel like if he took it more seriously, he would have gotten more out of it. One thing I would change about it though, I feel each camper should get his own bedroom or a dorm, like in a college, so they can all have their own bathroom and their own bed.

My 7th grade daughter attended the beginner camp over Christmas Break. Very organized, structured and a lot good drilling! Look forward to coming back!

There is zero overnight oversight at my brother's camp. Kids stay up playing video games all night on there cellphones. Then they are too tired to compete in the morning because nobody slept. Kids eat pizza and subs all week because it is easier. Walking liability considering you are supervising other peoples' Kids.
