Public office is alright and helpful. But the home office is horrible how are you going to threaten to close an account I just opened a few weeks ago because your employees didn't properly do their jobs. So you punish your customers for it. Iv banked here since they acquired team bank in 2009. Yet you need 3 forms of identification to open a savings account bc, I guess random people open and deposit money in other people's name.

Started an account there recently when I moved to Nevada. Warm, personal service. There's a complicated thing called a medallion signature that the government often requires and it's very difficult to get, but upon starting a relationship with this bank, they're happy to provide one to me. They pick up the phone when you call and it's at your local branch. This is really the way banking should be.

Local Branch is fine but its parent company handles all transaction from the IRS and 2021 return has been held for over a month. Local branch can't help and IRS confirmed that payment has been sent to the parent company.Parent companies customer service department has been unreachable. This is following numerous errors at the bank where 5-6 overdraft fees were applied simultaneously.May have once been a good place but

I got a truck loan. You have to have full coverage insurance. I took my full coverage insurance off. Great Southern bank offered me forced place insurance as they explained for 30$ which you could not drive, I agreed because I could not drive truck. When truck was drivable. I got full coverage insurance. GREAT SOUTHERN Bank is still charging me for force placed insurance.i thought it was reasonable insurance since my truck was undriveable. Not they wont take the extra 30$ off the loan balance. I asked alot of questions. And no one could give correct answeres. The bank manager even said we dont know who you got insurance from.Funny cause they got records of all insurance. When the truck was drivable I got my own full coverage insurance. Years later iam still paying for their force place insurance. I feel so RIPPED OFF BEWARE. Also I was told I had insurance/ then I recieved a letter saying I dont have insurance and on the backside of letter was someone elses info. Regarding their insurance. Really so who got my info? Then they back charged me for insurance they said I had but then I said I didnt have. When I asked bank manager she said we dont know that insurance company. Funny cause they got records . Also their own loan consultant says they should take the charge off current loan. Really baffers me but I got records the letter with my info and backside someone elses private info. I guess just make a report to The MO Attorney General since Great Southern so wish washy.
