Joel and Mike were very helpful and made the process easy to finance my car. I appreciate all their help and highly recommend them if you’re looking for a quality vehicle at a very reasonable price! They are definitely one of the best car dealerships in the Springfield metro area!

The most horrific experience at any kind of retail store we've ever had in our life! We came in with a check for 90% of the price of our desired vehicle, with the other 10% in cash in my bulging shirt pocket ready to buy. The gen-x owner broomed us out the door like so much dirt on his showroom floor. No negotiation. No interest in us as human beings. And absolutely no respect for us as cash paying customers. He was more interested in doing his ninja turtle act around the showroom like a 5 y/o than selling a car. I get the impression his daddy throws money at him just to get him out of the house. Absolutely no concept of customer service. The sales people were very nice and would do much better at a real car store.Additionally, he will likely respond to this review with his canned intro, a phony ploy to mollify any negative reactions to his bad reviews, followed by a 1000 word manifesto:..."As a preface, we would like to encourage all customers to ask about this review and the situation behind it if it brings you any concern or question about our business, as we would be happy to explain in much further detail than able to be shown in this response. We seek to provide a 5 star experience for all customers, both looking and purchasing, every single day."...Update: Dude, you know exactly who we are except you never took the time to even ask us our names.

Bought a SUV in the beginning of November from American Auto Outlet. The inventory was exactly what I had been looking for and the prices were relatively competitive for this crazy used car market. Started working with Mike to get a fit on the one we wanted. After a few visits and some back and forth debate with the wife. We decided we found the one we wanted, reached out to Mike for one final test drive, with the wife in our passenger seat and boom knew it was the right vehicle for our needs. Paid in full no financing met with Joel and he made the deal happen exactly as we could afford it to. With how good of a price the car was listed for and the attention to detail in maintenance plus that 6k/ 6 month warranty had us signing the deal right away. I look forward to a few years time and returning to trade in and get something different at that time. These guys did me right and that new showroom is perfect for the level of service and vehicles. Thanks Team see ya soon, but not too soon!

Awesome experience. They all worked very hard finding us financing and even stayed late to get the deal done. They even kept coming out and making sure our kids were doing good and gave them as many juice boxes as they wanted. If you aren’t buy a car here you’re making a big mistake!

THIS is the place to buy a car for your sixteen year old (or yourself)! We got a sedan that was waaaay below what we expected to pay. Having the Carfax helped tremendously and Joel made it a very smooth transaction. We highly recommend American Auto Outlet!

As soon as I saw the vehicle I wanted I confirmed it on their site, and even though it was after 7 at night they text me right back and kept in touch with me every step of the way till I was able to come in and look at it. They even washed it for me and had it sitting waiting for me. I loved our experience here, they kept good conversation, price was excellent, vehicle is excellent, great environment and great people. I recommend this place to anyone. We will be returning to by another vehicle soon.
