The people that work there are great all but the Manager. Everyone tiptoes around her. If I have to go to the Nixa, Mo branch I talk softly to the bank personel. The manager interferes when not needed. I went there at first to get my bank card. She hid it in her drawer saying that I needed help with banking because I was old. And I still have trouble with my accounts. So I have to drive all the way to Springfield Missouri Office. The Nixa Bank needs replaced.

I love arvest bank as a whole but i can't stand this location in Nixa. Everytime I come in here something goes wrong or the service is horrible.

I’ve been banking with them since they were bear state bank. I have my business account and personal accounts with them. They have always taken care of me. They know who I am when I call even with new employees coming in they are very professional and take care of all my accounts. They are very educational about their different products they offer. Best bank I have ever used.

I’ve been an Arvest customer since I got back from overseas. I wanted to do a veterans home loan through my local branch here in Nixa and got lender Mckenzie’s voicemail. Two different times, weeks apart. Left two separate messages with her and to no surprise I never received a call back from her. The call center you get transferred to is even worse. I used to love this branch. Now, I never wanna go in there for ANYTHING. Went with Veterans United instead. Do you think Arvest really cares about little ole me? Not a chance.

I find it crazy that if you do not have an account with them and cash a check that is their check from one of their accounts they charge you $5.... the only bank that I have ever heard of that does this.....

Horrible service at this branch. Made an appointment 3 days in advance for an in person meeting with a banker, arrived and checked in and waited outside at the door for 10 min in the freezing cold with my kids. Ended up calling and found out the banker took the day off and no one told me my appointment was cancelled. And no one has reached out since to apologize for the inconvenience.

I liked Arvest bank a lot In the beginning. They have been closed for months due to Covid and literally I’m possible to reach on the phone. On hold for 7 min and 4th attempt now. 2 pm on a Wednesday.

I became an Arvest member when they purchased Bear State Bank. I was honestly in the process of looking for a new bank because I didn't care much for Bear State. Arvest is fantastic and I'm very pleased with them.

My wife and I were persuaded to put all of our checking and savings into Arvest bank last year. Our ATM card was COMPLETELY SHUT OFF over Superbowl weekend when I was 400 miles from home on business. I could not get gas, food, or another night in my hotel. I have banked at Arvest for 10 years, through my financial ups and downs. Today, without warning or notification, they placed a hold on a deposit that has caused several important items to be returned. In 10 years, I've never has a deposit return, and am on direct deposit from the same source as when I opened my account. The check I deposited was from my mother, from whom I've deposited checks in the past. I called the branch and was told there's nothing they can do. I should be able to trust my bank to at least communicate with me if there's a problem. Not even a call. It's not right, and the effect on my credit report is inexcusable.
