I can not believe this Pep Boys! The worse one ever! I do feel sorry for "Derrick", who was there all by himself and was definitely stressed out to the max! We stood in front of the counter waiting for him while he helped 4 other people. We walked out and he came out to the parking lot berate us!! He said he didn't know if we had ever worked before, but we should understand! Well, wrong thing to say to a couple that have worked ourselves to almost death just to be able to retire. Very BAD choice of words! Please PEP BOYS, get this guy some help and train your employees better. I really don't blame it all on Derrick, this is up to Pep Boys to run their store better! We will never go back, nor the young couple that left before us.

My fiance and I drove up from Los Fresnos, TX to Chicago for my daughters bootcamp ceremony in Great Lakes, Illinois. We left Chicago early Saturday morning and by the time we were outside Springfield, MO we noticed that there appeared to be an issue with one of our tires. We stopped at this Pep Boys at around 600/615 (They close at 8PM) on Saturday January 26, 2019. My fiance got down to ask if they would check out our tire, it sounded like it might have a ball. They said no problem and asked us to park the car and give him a few minutes while he wrapped up with the other vehicle he was working on. I parked the car, got down and saw what appeared to be a manager/customer service rep come out and ask how could he help me. I explained to him that we were driving up from South Texas, coming from Chicago and trying to get to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I explained to him the issue we had with the tire, the sound it was making and what it was doing. His response was, sorry can't help you, we're about to close. My fiance stated that the website reads that the store closes at 8PM. He said sorry can't help you but go to Firestone and gave us directions to the store. Needless to say, we spent over $500 on tires at Firestone and they stayed late to help us get back on the road.

Integrity and caring. They give accurate and honest vehicle diagnostics and their prices are fair. Recently took a vehicle to them for a recommended repair, had some issues after getting it back - maybe unrelated to the original repair, but they helped get it back to perfect running condition. The service manager and the mechanics are all polite and personable.

I took in my barely used $40k mustang yesterday to have a nail pulled from a tire and then patched. After waiting some time I was brought into the mechanic work area so I could be shown damage to my side skirt that they employee immediately claimed he did not do. So now I've got cracked plastic on the side skirt of a nice vehicle.

Super slow. I had 2 headlight bulbs replaced and it took over an hour. There were not a lot of vehicles there to be serviced and I also made an appointment. There is supposed to be free WiFi however it doesn't work. I tried it on my phone and iPad. I'm not sure what the deal was today :(

Worst service I've ever had. I only picked pepboys because of a $20 off coupon for an oil change. I came in and was told it would take 45 minutes to an hour. It took over an hour and a half making me late to class, they put the wrong oil in my car and because they put the wrong oil in my car they said I couldn't use the coupon which was the only reason I picked this location. I would have had them fix it but they already made me late for my class. How could anyone screw up that bad? I said "I'd like a full synthetic Pennzoil oil change" ITS ON THE COUPON. They put in "50/50".
