I have used cobblestone for approximately 4 years. I have never had a problem with their veterinarians, and between both of my boys, we have seen all 3. I had 2 Great Danes, one of which was adopted through a local rescue. He was a patient there while we were fostering, and when we decided to keep him, we transferred our other Dane to them as well. I have never had an issue. Fast forward to yesterday, when I came home and found my rescue, Dax, had passed away. He was there the day prior due to not feeling well and saw Dr. Robertson. Some labs were done, and he was given pain meds for arthritis and told his symptoms could be due to a number of things. We opted not to do anything invasive due to his age and size. The vet said he didn't see any indicator that he needed to "pull the plug" yet, and we would see what the labs said. I was in agreeance because he didn't seem to be in any immediate distress or discomfort as he had been earlier that day. Yesterday, my daughter called and said he had started acting sick again. I was headed home around 2 and called to find out if the labwork showed anything out of normal. The girl that answered the phone took a note and then called me back. She kind of went over the labs without really providing much in the way of answers. I understand. We hung up. I got home around 3 pm. to find my sweet boy had passed. I called Cobblestone, trying to make arrangements to have him creamated. Someone answered the phone and put it on hold without speaking a word. Just what an already upset dog Mama wants.I called back, and they asked if I could hold. I said no and informed them of the situation. They told me to bring him in, but 5 min later called back and said they did not have room for him, and I was given the number to Friends of the Family Memorial. I called this place a couple of times and left messages but received no return call. I was told they closed at 5, and I wasn't sure what to do. It was about 345, and I was getting frustrated, so I called the lady who managed the rescue. (bc she is phenomenal and gets things done) She had been informed that the staff had been in contact with the memorial facility, and he was aware I was on my way. I headed that way, which was about a 30 min drive. I also had to round up assistance to help load my sweet boy into my car. By the time I got there, it was about 5 min prior to closing time, and no one was there. ( I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy) I returned a call to Cobblestone. (I openly admit, I was very upset.) The girl I talked to said he knew I was coming and she could call him but it would probably roll to the voicemail and she didn't have any other way to contact him. She tried. It did. She called me back and really had no advice at all. (Again, very upset and probably a bit rude, I am well aware) I said, "So what do I do with my near 200 pound dog?" I can't bury him in my backyard?? She again offered no answers. I told her to see if she could figure something out and call me back. She called back, saying she had talked to the vet, and they could put him in a "cage or run" until friends of the family came to get him the next day. With that thought in my mind, I am pretty sure I probably just hung up. This, again, is nothing against the veterinarians at Cobblestone, but the reception or whomever answers the phones needs a bit of education on compassion. I realize that 185-pound dogs aren't the norm, but the lack of compassion and communication made an already heartbreaking situation much worse. Also, if you can't accommodate them other than putting them in a "run or cage," spare the grieving pet parent the mental picture. He has been in our lives for 4 years, and he was our family. He deserved more than this. Luckily, I found a lovely cremation place in Nixa who was able to accommodate him and was even prepared for dogs his size. They even stayed late and waited on me to get there, even after having already cleaned up for the day.

Came to Cobblestone, with our cat, after a horrible experience with a neighboring vet clinic nearby. (See review for Pampurred Cat). I was very pleased with the experience at Cobblestone, from the receptionist to the vet and techs, and even the facility. Everyone was knowledgeable, personable and helpful. I highly recommend!

Everyone was very nice and welcoming from check-in to check-out. Vet assessed Ace and talked to me about what was going on ( was not rushed). Very happy and Ace is on the mend!

Our German Shepperd had puppies not long after we moved to Nixa. The staff at Cobblestone were amazing and continue to be amazing with our mama and puppies. One of our puppies turned out to be a special needs puppy and the staff has been amazing in working us in when needed. Another of the puppies was rejected by mama right away, and the staff was so helpful as we navigated bottle raising a puppy. Highly recommend this team!

Dr. Robertson is truly that "once in a lifetime" vet you pray to find for your furry family members. He had taken care of one of ours for 20 years before helping our baby say goodbye to this earth and hello to the kingdom God has for his creatures. Amazing practice. His staff is equally phenomenal. Highly recommend.

The doctors and staff at Cobblestone are wonderful. Our dog is older and wasn't feeling well a year ago and the medication they prescribed has done wonders. Their hours are great, especially since they are open on Saturdays. They are very caring. I certainly recommend them.
