Nixa dollar tree is a good seasonal stop. This particular store isn't picked over and generally stocked neatly and clean. The staff is helpful and courteous.

I am so done with Dollar Tree. I had a problem with them this past Easter and now Halloween. My husband bought too many Halloween decorations. I had him take a few of them back on 10/27, four days before Halloween. They would not refund his money, as it was “too close” to Halloween. We had just bought them on the 24th or 25th. That’s just ridiculous! This past Easter (at the Dollar Tree in Ozark) I had bought a little toy to put in one of my grandkid’s Easter basket. When he opened it, it would not work. I tried to take it back a few days later. They wouldn’t return my money, saying there are no refunds on seasonal items, period. Not even broken ones. I’m going to stick with Dollar General from now on. It’s actually closer to home. I’ve never not had them refund my money on anything. If you have a receipt, DG will take it back, pretty much no questions asked.
