I attempted to book an appointment on line but I failed to succeed. So I called the shop and the lady that answered said they were not busy and took my name and I told her I’ll be there very soon. When I arrived there were 3 people waiting and was informed that the wait time would be over an hour. I was then informed that they to not accept appointment over the telephone. Needless to say that established my resolve to never step foot in another GREAT CLIPS again.
But my story does not stop there.
I really needed a haircut so on my way home I happened by a shop SPORTS CLIPS. So I stopped by and wow what a good decision that turned out to be. Not only did I get a great cut which included a hair wash in a vibration chair with a hot towel followed by a neck and shoulder massage.
All this with a cost less than GREAT CLIPS.
One more thing, I was given a $5 coupon for my next visit.
They are located in the next strip mall just north near Arby’s.

Came here at about 4:15 because I have some dead ends that I thought should get cut off a Elderly lady was doing my hair she started with a Shampoo it was all fine she did leave a little of shampoo on the top of my hair
But when it was time to cut she didn't even brush my hair at all?!? She cut my hair but this whole time she didn't say a word to me she was like a ghost spacing off every single second
Left the place with half wet hair, tangled hair, and she didn't even put my middle part back when I asked I do t know if she didn't hear me or what my hair is horrible ha dto go home and fix it all myself Never coming back to this Place again...

The 2 stars is because the wait time wasn’t bad. The stylist and haircut I was given on the other hand were horrible. I use to be a stylist at a Great Clips in KS and I told her this. I showed her pics of what I wanted and length. I wanted a shoulder length shag. She told me she knew exactly what I wanted, she had done it hundreds of times. After I got a shampoo I told her I had a little bit of curl and wave and she said she knew how to work with mixed hair. I’m not mixed. When she started the cut, I was confused because she didn’t start with length. She just started cutting layers. I asked her about it and she said it was a new technique she learned when she worked at Smart Style. She finished the haircut and when I looked at the back I told her the length needs to be cut because I want it shoulder length and she told me that’s not what I wanted. She kept saying it wouldn’t work with the layers that she gave me and she knew what I needed. I decided to give it a few days to see if I would heart use to it but I hate it. My length is a foot longer then I want and the rest of the cut isn’t even connected. I am going to another stylist to get it cut again. Paid $30 because I didn’t want to argue and there were no other employees around at that time. Went on 8/20/25 and I don’t remember her name. I normally don’t do reviews but this one really bothered me.

Signed in online, website said 20 minutes wait. Got to store 15 minutes after signing in online and was told it would be 64 minutes. 1 person was in the chair and the 2 people walked in just before me. What's the point of signing in online if it doesn't hold your spot? This location is going downhill, can't keep stylists, and the ones in there now don't do a very good job.

They sat there and talked for a solid 3 minutes, finishing their personal conversation before checking us in and helping us. One even said to us, “we are not ignoring you.” And then continued to ignore the fact a customer had came in. Cut was pretty good though.

She didn't listen to how I wanted my hair cut. She kept insisting to cut my hair the same as last time even though I told her it was too short last time. I hate my cut and wish I never had it done.
