Donovan Manhner has always been extremely nice, thoughtful and helpful, by far the best employee at GSB, one of the main reasons I bank with GSB even though it is out of state, he makes transactions, transfers etc a breeze. I recommend Donovan for a promotion/ pay raise, although I would/ will be VERY disappointed if he leaves for the corporate office position!

My wallet was stolen last night and I had to deactivate the old card, get a new card, and despute the charges. I was helped promptly and everyone was so kind! I appreciated how smoothly the process went and that they listened to me while I was upset. Thank you ?

Had to cancel my card and order a new one. Card never arrived. Called every week and then called the customer service number instead of the Nixa bank. Was told that the person at the Nixa bank never placed an order for any new cards. So it's been almost a month now and I'm still having to use my credit card to pay for everything because my debit card NEVER HAS ARRIVED!!! I've had communication issues with this Great Southern for more then two years now. More then half the time my cards don't arrive and I live out of state so I can't just pop into a location to get a new card. If anyone moves out of state I don't suggest staying with Great Southern.

I walked in to the GSB location on Mt Vernon in Nixa MO to cancel my account. The young male teller did just that without asking any questions. I said I want to cancel my account, he asked for my ID and closed my account. DID NOT ASK A SINGLE QUESTION ABOUT WHY I WAS CLOSING TWO ACCOUNTS. This is why I moved my money. If you don't care about keeping me and my money as a customer, you sure won't try to help me grow it.

Really happy with this location. They resolve all of my concerns and help when I need them. But will not go to the one on Main St. Have had many so not happy experience at that one. But this location is GREAT AND WONDERFUL..

I have never had a bad experience at any of The Great Southern banks in Nixa, Ozark and Springfield. The girls at this bank are amazing. They know me by name, are friendly and always willing to help with any questions or problems I may have.

Great Southern Bank is not Southern Bank. Great Southern has been my bank for over 35 years

Since People's Bank has switched to Southern Bank I can not sign in to my account at all. I do realize that the switching of all the info would take awhile. But in the pamphlet thing they sent out to everyone said it would take no longer than the 8th. I think it is very important for all companies to stand by their word. I am very mad!
