Red flag one; almost getting bit by a ugly dog wasn't what I prepared for when walking in. Red flag two; Lady behind the desk clearly needs hearing aids or a new job. Giving attitude for coming in for an appointment then giving ugly looks for the pet I brought in (bird). Red flag three was the vet assistant I don't know if she was okay or not but she looked and sounded high. Looking around the room you can clearly see that cleaning wasn't a priority or even near last concern as there was trash laying around on the counterspace, Then what really pushed me over the edge is when she aggressively grabbed my bird out of the carrier in a rag then complained about my bird biting her, funny that my bird never did that to any vet or assistant until today, then the real kicker that really pissed me off is when she THREW my bird back into the carrier. My bird is a budgie. Like come on get right with yourself. As that finished and we got BOTH budgies back into the carrier as she was "going to get the doctor" my husband and I called another avairy veterinary clinic and got an appointment with them so we walked out of this so called veterinary office because clearly they are not experienced enough to handle avairy pets*Edit*The reply shows the lack of accountability and being fully aware of a review or even what happens in the own clinic can't clean it? Maybe hire someone like a vet tech that knows it's part of their job to clean the rooms or hire a hand that does....I'm so happy that I will never allow myself to work for a place like this.

Very bad customer service and communication. "Sara" is extremely rude and unprofessional.

We did not bring our dog here- but when we had an emergency we spoke with Sarah and she was SO HELPFUL over the phone. She explained that they are short staffed and pointed us in the direction of a place that could help us ASAP. Thankyou so much!

First visit was yesterday (9/14/23) for two chickens - yes, chickens. Very friendly staff and the doc was great. Very affordable as well. They were able to get me in 5 days after I called. Will be back

I’ve Loved JRAH for years. For 10 years we’ve taken all of our pets there and they’ve been amazing. In February we brought our beagle in because he had a bulge on his belly. Doc said it was nothing to worry about. Old dogs get these. No meds or anything. About a month ago our boy started acting funny. Just lethargic, and he looked bloated. Took him in again to see what was going on. Doc said it was nothing to worry about, he just had an infection. Sent us home with antibiotics. We had him on antibiotics for a week and not only did he not get better, but his health declined. He acted like he was in pain and wouldn’t eat. We took him to the emergency vet. They did X-rays, (which should have been done back in February) and found that he was just full of cancer. Cancer was pushing on all of his vital organs and we had no choice but to put him to sleep immediately. Cancer was causing the bloating look, that’s how full of cancer he was. I am not one to post negative reviews unless it is absolutely warranted. I am the first to admit that everyone makes mistakes. I’ve made some pretty vital ones in my life. However, they had two chances to catch this. Had they just done x-rays in February, maybe we could’ve got him treatment and saved his life. Why wouldn’t they do x-rays on a bloated dog? It wasn’t out of consideration of cost, Money has never been an issue when it comes to our boys. If they needed something, they got it. The staff up there are amazing. Even doc himself is great, But they are extremely understaffed and overwhelmed. They have too much on their plate and simply no longer have the time to give adequate care for your pets. We’ve pulled both of our dogs records, all 23 pages of them, and found another vet. I wish them the best, and hope they find help so that they can get back on track. Unfortunately, our boy paid the price.

We brought our cat up there 3 weeks ago because she had some swelling on her face. Dr hardy put her on antibiotics without checking to see if she had an infection or not. She's on the treatment for a week an doesn't get better she goes back for a follow up an he put her on more antibiotics not checking to see if that is still an issue. She goes back again yesterday for a follow up an he tells my daughter it could either be an infection or a bone tumor!! Those are two different issues an yet tells my daughter to come back for an xray to see whats going on. I believe that should have been done to begin with so that way we could be taken care of her correctly not to mention the money it costs. I wont be bringing anymore of my animals to this clinic. Sadly disappointed

The wait is awful every time we go in, even though there's hardly any other clients in the place. I just waited an hour and ten minutes with my dog and two family members without anyone from the vets office coming out to apologize or explain. Out appointment was at 4:45 and we waited until 5:55 (past their closing time mind you). Never coming back.

Everyone is so nice when we come in...we never know what critter may be waiting to be seen. Cash isn't fan of men but Dr. Hardy takes it in good humor. No nasal sprays for Cash.. muzzell & a shot please! Dolly hasn't a care in the world! She loves everyone. ❤️

Perhaps we just had bad luck, I'm very disappointed Called once, hung up on after 3-4 rings. Called ONE more time, and we heard in the background "oh my god he keeps calling." We have a pet that has possibly ingested plastic and has zero interest in eating or moving. This is not something we wanted added to our plate.

I took my parrot "Bantu", and Dr. Hardy and his staff handled him very well despite him not being tamed. They were very thorough in the exam, and Bantu got a clean bill of health.

Wonderful, wonderful place. Caring staff and a vet who is very knowledgeable on a wide variety of animals. Drove my snake an hour to this place because she wasn't feeling well and it was soo worth it. We got her the meds that she needs and it was only $25!! We need more vets like this in the world... if you're reading this Dr. Hardy... thank you so much for caring for my Bindi, she is my world
