Absolutely never answers the phone. This place is lazy, poorly run and doesn't care about customer service. If I could give ZEREO stars I would.

Now I know that winter weather can delay the delivery of mail. But when the driver gets out and hands my neighbor her mail and I'm actively clearing the snow from in front of my mailbox and the lady just looks at me and drives away, it really pissed me off. Just laziness.

The lady working in the today Monday 1/6/25 was the absolute rudest person I have interacted with in a long time. I am a server so I am quick to defend those who work in customer service but this was ridiculous! I smiled and said she immediately raised her voice to tell me it is not her job to tape my package, before I got the chance to ask to buy the tape. I walked out after several more rude comments from her.

Yalena should be working in the back where she doesn't interact with the public as she is rude and clearly doesn't enjoy people. She was rude to the people before us and rude to me even though I made an appointment to be there. I left. I can go somewhere where they don't act disgusted to have to do their job. You may not want to be at work, but you are being paid to be there, so try to be civil at the least.

Due to city ordinance my house never had enough room for my mail to be delivered, maybe this was an oversight. Now obviously this is in no part the fault of the staff at the nixa branch, their attitude towards my plight is. After having lived at my address for 4 years, and with little explanation other than the occasional blocked tag my mail stopped coming, and we were told that we have to get a P.O. Box to acquire our mail. With no sympathy the staff informed my family that we are basically going to have to “not have as many vehicles” or “move to another location” in order to continue with their services. So now I have to change the address for all of my endeavors to a P.O. Box at the office with the people that feel and believe without a doubt that I am in the wrong.
Before buying a house in nixa maybe do more research.
Thanks nixa USPS.

If I could leave no stars I would. Who employs mail delivery people who are scared of their own shadow. We have a dog, she’s as soft as anything, on an underground fence… mail box is where she can’t get to and is at the top of my driveway. The clown that “delivers” packages won’t even stop at our house. Even when the dog is INSIDE… I have to spend my time off chasing my mail I’ve PAID to be delivered! I understand policy. But 90% of the world owns a dog and now they are saying they won’t ring the door bell or knock? Incase my dog answers the door?? Come on!

Very unfriendly and unprofessional staff at this location. I had a package that missed delivery on Thursday, I filled out the redelivery slip online to have them keep it at the post office. Went to come get it and the older lady behind the counter tells me that a courier went out with it anyways and that he was a couple minutes away from my house.Well by the time I get back to my house the courier had come and gone and still didn't leave my package. Went back up to the same post office 5 hours later and was told again by the same lady that the courier was still out and that it hadn't been by my house yet.I wait the rest of the day on Friday and still no delivery.Come back again Saturday morning, to once again get the same lady, telling me that I wasn't home when it was delivered. I told her that I had been home all day and that it never came. Her response was "Well you weren't home while you were here."I understand that sometimes there are miscommunications, and that things will inevitably get mixed up, but when the website tells me to come pick it up and they have sent it out anyways, that is pretty annoying. Add that to the rudeness that exudes from this post officer's employees and it makes for a very poor experience.

The woman at the desk I went to for help was so hateful I left crying. I ended up leaving with no help and went to a different post office.

I took a small bubble mailer in to return to a business and I took the printed out label, I wasn't sure if they had to print something out and stick it on the package. It turned out they didn't need to print anything out, but she told me they can't tape the label I brought, I need to tape it on myself. I asked if she had any tape she could hand me so I could put it on and she said I could purchase tape there. I just said ok, thank you, and left. (I don't
do confrontations). I didn't want it to sit in my hot car all day so while I was doing errands in Springfield I took it to the post office on Independence and she took it and taped it and processed it no problem. I didn't say anything about the Nixa office while I was there. I've never had a negative experience at the Nixa office before so that's why I didn't give a one star. It would just be nice if they could've been more helpful in that situation.
