River Ranch Resort is located along the beautiful Elk River and offers the perfect outdoor getaway. It features cabins, electric and primitive campsites, and RV spots. Guests enjoy a variety of activities including rafting, kayaking, canoeing, tubing, and fun lazy river floating. There is a bar and food nearby, including food truck options. The water is beautiful and many have unforgettable float trips. However, some camp sites are next to a water treatment plant, which can create an unpleasant aroma. Directions after check-in are not always clear, and some staff can be unhelpful or condescending, though others are pleasant and sweet. The campground can be loud and party-like. It is recommended to bring sunscreen, UV protectant clothing, an umbrella for shade, and a dry bag for the float.
Absolute must go!! Party group in front and quiet people in back. That’s my only advice, I am a YouTuber and reserved an upfront spot; they changed it for no cost. Much appreciated
