Two Sons Floats & Camping is a wonderful outfit for a float trip down the Elk River. The staff is wonderful, extremely friendly, helpful, and super kind. The whole gang works hard to make your stay a pleasant one. The rental process is easy, and they offer a shuttle service where they take you up river and you float back to camp. This is better than having to get to a pickup point at specific times, and it means your car is right there when finished, with no wait for a shuttle bus. The beautiful campground is shady with plenty of space so campers are not sardined in like at other camps. There is a big beach area to play and watch floaters. The camp office has supplies, but guests should bring their own hand soap for the bathrooms, along with water sneakers, hats, and plenty of sun protection for the river. The business shows thoughtful stewardship, such as offering mesh bags for trash. People have been coming for years, enjoying new additions each year, and look forward to returning.
