  Its good but expensive. Almost $200 to camp 2 nights along with a shuttle ( we have our own boats) the shuttle alone is $80!!!!

  I like how they take you up river and then you float back to camp. This is better than having to get to the pickup point at specific times and then bus back

  This outfit does such a great job!! They make the rental process so easy for a float trip down the Elk. I have rented with them twice this summer and everyone was super helpful!! I also love that once you’re done, your car is RIGHT THERE and you don’t have to wait for a shuttle bus. Hopefully one day we will get to try it combined with a camping trip!

  I have been camping and floating with Two Sons since they opened and will continue to do so. Bring your own hand soap for the bathrooms as it was not supplied the last time I was there. Be sure to bring water sneakers, hats, and plenty of sun protection for the river. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful so give them a call if you have any questions! The camp office has supplies as well.

  We love Two Sons. Just returned from a 10 day stay. We’ve been coming here for 15 yrs. Campground is shady with plenty of space so you’re not sardined in like many of the other camps. The whole gang works hard to make your stay a pleasant one. Big beach area to play and watch floaters. We love the four mile float. We love the staff. We look forward to all the new additions they add each year. After all Missouri is “The Float Me State”. Tell them Rebecca sent you!!

  So so much fun! Will do it again next year.. This year was a little different though. The bathrooms were nasty. Cob webs, wasps was the least of our worries. There was a condom and dirty panties on the shower floor and it smelled like vomit. Dirty tampons hanging from trees by our campsite. It was a muddy muddy mess.

  Very clean and friendly. However the 4 mile float is really only 3 miles and the 8 mile float is only 6ish The gps don’t lie. Otherwise I’d give it 5 stars.

  We took our new tubes out for their maiden voyage using the shuttle service at Two Sons. Everyone was wonderful, from the person who answered the phone, the nice woman who checked us in, the shuttle driver who took us to the drop point and gave us lots of great info, and sweet Angel the dog, we had the best time and can't wait to go back. It was a gorgeous drive down from Joplin and the river was perfect. We also really loved that we were offered the use of a mesh bag for our trash in case we brought any disposables, which is a thoughtful touch and shows respectful stewardship of the land. Check these folks out, you will not be sorry!
