3 stars because the new liner was finally installed, appears to fit, looks good and hasn't leaked like the old one. Minus 2 stars for the installation, which was supposed to be last fall but they said the weather was getting too cold and I would be one of the first installed in the spring. I asked what one of the first means and Vince said usually late March or April. After not hearing anything from them by May, I called several times before finding out I was 15th on the list. The liner was finally installed mid-June. I was home during the installation and went out in the afternoon to check on how it was going and the installers were gone. I called Jess to see what was going on and he said we got the liner in so we got the hell out of there. I asked so you're finished? Jess said yep we're done. They didn't tell me they were finished and it was ok to start filling it with water and reconnect the pool light junction box. They didn't clean up anything: scraps of liner laying around, duct tape residue all over the steps, coping and water hose, 4 big piles of wet smelly leaves and gunk in the lawn where they dumped the wet vacs and killed the grass, mud smeared on the fence, concrete and pool box, the red arrow positioning stickers and duct tape still on the liner, etc. I'm happy with the new liner at a good price compared to other estimates I received, but very disappointed with the service and communication.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Above and Beyond is amazing! The staff (especially Devan) is so responsive and gives you all the info you could ever need. Their installers worked so quickly and our pool looks great! I highly recommend their services.Service: Above ground pool installation

They're alright. Not much selection. Lady only knew about "her" products & couldn't help us fix what my pool water needed.

We paid over $7000 we ordered our pool in February of 2022. We did not get our pool installed until late Augustof 2022. Never got to swim in it, this year we just uncovered and and realized just how crooked it is. One side of the pool the water is 5" under the rail, and the other side is only 2" under the rail. The installer they used is horrible. I will be contacting the owners at above and beyond with photographs and measurements. I would NOT recommend using thier installer, above and beyond owners were wonderful, but the installer they used is awfulService: Above ground pool installation

Above and Beyond replaced our inground pool liner. This company was a mess from the start. The workers left large rocks under liner…my husband had to call owner to push for them to pull back the liner to clean the rocks out. We also had concerns about the liner being too small as it was pulling quite a bit in corners, along edges, and steps. We were assured by owner this was normal and it would stretch out. A short 3 years later and we have tears in the liner where it’s pulled around jets. We got confirmation from 2 other liner companies that indeed the installation was botched, the liner was too small. We are faced with having to purchase a new pool liner, they should last more than 3 years. This company refused to fix their mistakes.Buyer beware. Do NOT hire this company!Service: Swimming pool equipment repair

Michelle and the Above & Beyond team are amazing! We recently needed a new hot tub cover and Michelle indeed went "above and beyond" to help us and make sure we received just the right one. She contacted manufacturers on our behalf and made sure that all the details were exactly right. The service we received with Above & Beyond Pools and Spas was excellent, punctual and professional. Michelle really takes the time that is needed and doesn't rush decisions just to move on and make a dollar. She and the team really care about their customers and it shows in the time and effort they invest toward outstanding customer service. I highly recommend them!

I bought a spa from Above & Beyond and had a fantastic experience from sales to installation. They thought of everything I needed to enjoy the tub and had it for me at the time of install. The entire group was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I couldn't have asked for more and would highly recommend them. Great group of people!KimService: Spa & hot tub installation

I love these guys! They always treated me so great even though I only had a pop-up Intex 48i X 18 foot. I was able to learn so much. I recommend this company over online or other places in KCMO

More like "Bare Minimum Pool & Spas". If you like getting the run around, passed from person to person, no call backs... if you like getting tricked out of your money and not get what you paid for, by all means, this is the company for you. I paid for a saltwater system to be installed with the pool (ordered in Feb, said it would be installed by July, actually installed in September. ). First they said i didn't pay for it, and it wasn't on the invoice. Wrong. I showed them the invoice. Then they said it was too late in the year to install anyway since the water temp would be too cold. Then they said, it was on backorder. I waited and waited. Then I called and emailed and called until they said "ok, come pick it up". When i got there they gave me a sun bleached tore up box literally with some duct tape holding it together. (Sure, on backorder and they just got it in, I don't think so. ) Now that it's time to reopen the pool i have a busted box with a lot of loose adapters and clamps, hose, etc and i have no idea how it goes together (since they didn't install it, I didn't break it down for the winter and have no idea how it goes together). I called and asked them to send someone out to finish the job. To install what i paid for (and paid an install fee for). They said they were too busy and it was easy and I could do it myself. She said if i come in the store she'd show me how to do it. (I live almost an hour away) We argued on the phone, Michelle had many excuses, but that no, they're not sending someone out. I was furious. I got a call a bit later from Marianne saying they're real busy but she might be able to send someone out if they're in the area. She said she would call me back and let me know when. I felt like she was just smoothing me over so i don't raise a stink. Full of empty promises since I'm still waiting on that phone call. Well, you know what stinks, this company. It's a shame. Next step the BBB & Chamber of Commerce.

I purchased a high end Master Spa hot tub from Michelle, owner of Above and Beyond in February 2021. Service was good until I made a warranty claim about the spa cover which the photos I took clearly show was defective. Apparently the manufacturer put the foam insulation into the cover while it was still hot causing it to weld itself to the cover material, which made it impossible to flip the insulation over from time to time per the manufacturer's instruction in order to keep water from pooling on the cover.I sent photos along with an explanation of the issue to Michelle, the owner of Above and Beyond, which she forwarded to Master Spas. Master Spas requested additional photos which I provided, in abundance. Since then, which has been over two months, I have heard nothing from Michelle or Master Spas.I have emailed Michelle and left numerous messages, as she never seems to be available when I call. At this point it is clear that she is ghosting me and has no intention of doing the right thing. This is an example of how you don't really find out what kind of business you are dealing with until there is a significant issue, which replacing the hot tub cover qualifies as. Michelle, as owner of Above and Beyond, as well as Master Spas have demonstrated they are not good companies.I would never consider doing business with either again. Take heed, shop elsewhere.
