This is my spot I rent from anytime I need a car to travel for work. Richard is the best and always friendly and helpful. He's why I keep coming back to this location when there are other rental places closer to home I could go to.

I had a really great experience here after another rental car provider got rid of my rental close to 4 pm. Staff was friendly and helped me by coming through with a similar car to what I had reserved at another rental car place.

Thank you North Kansas City, Missouri for your excellent customer service! The manager and all staff has always went above and beyond to ensure we are taken care of. I always return to Avis because of the care the give every time I walk in the door!

Its hard when you gotta deal with service people works behind the counter theres a guy and a lady they have really strong attitudes towards the customers and they never try to help not friendly.i hope the owner will see this but if you want you location to be more successful you gotta change your workers and teach them how to deal with customers.

When I made the reservation online, just to pick up the confirmed vehicle, I arrived at the establishment, waited for two hours, and they did not deliver the car I reserved; they gave me a different one. Additionally, this vehicle was very dirty inside and out, and the cigarette smell was too strong! The next day, they said they would deliver a car in perfect condition at 10:15 sharp, which was not true! I waited 2 hours for the new vehicle, but its tire sensor was not working. Furthermore, it was very dirty inside and out. It was a business trip! I did not expect to have so many issues with a car. In the end, they gave me a van that was not what I wanted. They said they would change it later, but it did not happen. This is the first time I use AVIS service and maybe the last. Definitely terrible service!

I wish Google would let us not have to add on to the previous review if it's a different date anyhow again Avis came through with the rescue I made a reservation with Expedia for Enterprise for today to get there and the representative tell me they don't have any cars or trucks this was off 600 and Grand so I called Avis off of Burlington North Kansas City and said hey is there any way you can get me an SUV because at this point I'm calling for a ride because I don't have a ride to get a ride and he said come on down I can get you taken care of nice gentleman glasses always keeps a Sharp presence I just want to say thank you because I would have not had any other alternative for the week so bless you my good sir they need to commemorate you for your service and I was not down there no more than 15 minutes without a reservation just a phone call and he was able to get me in a reliable brand new vehicle so I thank you

I was delayed for an hour because Avis wanted a 2nd photo ID!!! It cost me a load in my business. I deliver commercial vehicles all over the US and I rent cars rather frequently to make connections!! I have never had this poor of service renting a car!!!

I rent from Avis all the time so I recommended them to my mom and sister who were driving cross country on a 20 hr drive. They get to the NKC location I always rent from and receive a van with bald tires. Then they are told to switch it out for a different vehicle at another location. They go to the airport and are dismissed by the staff there and told they can’t swap it out there. So they call NKC back and complain to upper management and get an upgraded vehicle. This whole process sets their trip back 3 hrs. They received the upgraded vehicle to only have to worry about low tire pressure 2 hrs into their drive. This issue persisted the whole trip with them having to air up the tires three times during their trip. Very disappointed in Avis for this service my family received especially since I recommended them based on always receiving great service myself throughout the years. Do better Avis!

I chose this location because it's cheaper than the airport. The clerk working behind the counter has a bad attitude. He gave me a 2018 with 70k miles that had worn tires, bad breaks, vibration and a flat tire. He treated me like a POS. I was able to exchange it at the Loews Hotel with much better service and a brand new car. The N. KC location doesn't seem concerned about their customers safety. Shame on them

My rental experience with Avis was exceptional. Professional at the pick up, very nice SUV rental. Today , when I dropped off my vehicle I forgot something and they called me and I was able to retrieve my item before boarding my plane. Also , they let me return the rental to the airport for convenience.Overall 5 star experience this time with Avis.
