“I love that you can samples before you buy and that they always have something new. When I share a pour from an ABV pick, people always guess I paid 2-3 times what I bought the bottle for, and they like it much more than the allocated stuff on their own shelves.”
“Great selection and such helpful friendly staff. Easy street parking in front, as well as a small parking lot in back, make a quick stop so convenient. They always have a kind word for my dog plus a treat, so it is fun to stop by when we are out for a walk. Their wine suggestions are spot on.”
“Saint Louis Hop Shop is an incredible place, not just for drinks, but for friends and community. For two years while I lived on the South side in St. Louis, I spent every Friday night there, made lifelong friends, and tried one-of-a-kind wines and beers. Hop Shop is a Saint Louis staple and I can't recommend it enough! If you live in St. Louis or if you're visiting, stop by Hop Shop for a great time and wonderful people!”
“They have a really solid selection of bourbon here. Josh the manager and the rest of the staff are awesome. They had a couple bottles that were priced higher than I was willing to pay. We haggled. I picked up a couple more bottles and we worked out a really fair deal on some allocated bottles. This is a great local business that I'm glad to support.”

“I have been on the hunt for a place that sells organic, farm fresh produce, meat, dairy. I didn’t have enough time to really browse all the things they have in this space, but the produce I got was so fresh and tasted like real foood!!! The farm fresh cream was amazing and I’m excited to try the steaks and chicken!!! My only wish i had was that there were more places like this closer to the area where I live, but thankful there is a place like this!!”

“I’m a longtime customer, but it was my first visit to this location on the Hill. I went for the Cazadores tequila tasting and tacos from Rock Star. The tacos were yummy, and I ended up purchasing one of the tequilas as a result.The staff at this - as well as the other locations - are always friendly and helpful. Randall’s marketing events and classes are always a hit for me and I try to participate as my schedule allows.One thing about Randall’s: if they don’t have a product, they will try to get it. It’s rare though, that I can’t find what I’m looking for here. And their prices are usually a bit lower than anywhere else. It’s my go-to for liquor, beer and mixes.”

Most impressive is the staff's willingness to go the extra mile to find and order a wine that they don't stock.
The other day, Hannah located a wine that neither the Wine Barrel nor the larger chain retailers had in stock and got it for me within 24 hours so I could have it for an upcoming party. None of the larger stores or national chain stores were willing to do that for me.”

“I want to say THANK YOU!!! I Just left the Dierbergs location in Des Peres and had the BEST customer service EVER!!! I was looking for beef short ribs. I asked the meat counter gentleman. he walked over with me to the place they should have been. there was only 1 pack and I really needed 3-5 pounds. he was nice enough to not only go see if he had any in the freezer but he also cut them and from full ribs. To me this is real customer service! This is just one example on why I drive past 4 other grocery stores to come to this location. THANK YOU for having the BEST employees!!!”

“I've been in the store one time. I saw it on Brewzle on YouTube. I went in there looking for bourbon. The guy working the front desk was friendly enough but he really didn't know anything. In fairness he did call someone and get answers to my questions but it was kind of a convoluted process. It would have been better if he was more knowledgeable about the product. But other than that I thought the prices were fair. The location is good and the selection was pretty good. Personally, I would have liked to have seen a wider selection of Japanese whiskeys but that's just a personal thing with me and I wouldn't hold it against them. I know most people don't drink Japanese whiskey. Although they did have a few bottles.”
