I got my 2018 JLU a little under 2 years ago, and axleboy has been my go to for repairs and upgrades. Steve is great to work with, and they get the work done quickly and correct. I cannot recommend them enough for your off road needs!

Took my Toyota Tacoma in for a bed cover, bed rack and ikamper roof mounted tent. Tommy went through all the decision options from the initial part of the estimate and again went through all the options when I picked it up! Wonderful service, couldn't be happier with the work, price, options and staff

Couldn’t be happier with the lift and tires. I had been debating what to do for well over a year and Tommy stayed with me the entire time. Every email, every detail he responded to quickly and gave great advice. Finally pulled the trigger and ended up with exactly what I wanted.

I have used Axleboy foe several years now and have always been impressed with their knowledge about my vehicles. They listen to my wants and needs and find a way to accommodate the philosophy of use in regards to my Jeep Jk. I never feel like they try to push me into products they want me to buy. Tommy always listen to what I am thinking and gives me options that go along with what my needs are. I’ve always been happy with the service work and the prices are as good as I can find on my own. Tommy always works around my busy schedule and has even delivered my Jeep to my workplace, even after hours on his own time. I couldn’t be happier with their work and Tommy’s personalized service.

I was looking around for places to do a 3 inch lift kit on my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ. I walked in and talked to Tommy who worked me step by step by finding a great custom lift kit for it. He made lots of great suggestions on what i can do to get my moneys worth of parts. Now granted it wasn't easy going due to the condition my jeep was in. Its was all underlining issues I didn't know was there, but Tommy and the mechanic Jimmy was able to help me fix those issues and still get my Jeep to look the way i dreamed it would. I definitely recommend taking your offroad vehicle to them because they are not gonna bs you around and get cheap stuff all the parts are gonna be quality parts and they are very professional on what they do as a business. They definitely earned a repeat customer.

Not satisfying experience, took way too long to do a simple job. And didn’t get it right.

Shop is great. Tommy was awesome to work with from start to finish planning build to completion. Alway gave updates and sent pics when lift was installed. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Excellent experience from start to finish with Tommy providing knowledgeable guidance throughout the process. I feel comfortable saying that Tommy worked with me to get the best quality product at my price point and there was no feeling of being up-sold at any time. I'm extremely satisfied with the ride of my Nissan frontier Pro4x and would highly encourage anyone looking for mods to their vehicle to check out axle boy.

Axleboy has been my go-to for over 5 years now with my Jeep Cherokee, and I couldn't be happier with their service. They're consistently reliable, easy to work with, and always provide top-notch care for my Jeep. Tommy is especially great, he's always willing to go the extra mile to help and ensures that every job is done right. If you're looking for a trustworthy shop that knows their way around Jeeps, Axleboy is the place to go!

Don’t take your car here if you value your vehicle, or your safety, for that matter. Sloppy work, irresponsible management. They mess up your car and deny responsibility.
First experience, they installed pinch weld covers on my Bronco *upside down* and forgot several screws on new mudflaps. They fixed it, so I gave them another chance.
Ordered a Bestop Skyrider through them. When I picked it up I pointed out that the cover itself looked warped (worked fine but didn’t look good), and they said that if I had it in the sun and rain for a while it may straighten itself out. So waited a couple months, but it actually got worse. So after some back and forth with bestop and a bunch of photos, I got a warranty exchange.
When new top arrived, Axleboy installed it and it looked great, just like it should from the photos. I considered them redeemed, and was a happy customer.
Then within literally two days it rained and the top was leaking terribly. Pouring, even. I reported it to axelboy and was told by Steve that this is not the top or the installation, the problem was MY CAR. He said I had to take it to Ford for them to reinstall the whole front gasket, which would involve replacing the windshield, potentially thousands of dollars of work that would have left the car worse than it was now.
I said that did not make any sense. It didn’t leak with the last top, and it NEVER leaked with the Hard top, so it can’t be the gasket. It’s not fords job to make the car fit every top, it’s the top manufacturer’s and installer’s job to make sure the top fits the car. This was obviously an issue with the top. He refused to accept this, because his “technician” said it was my car.
Frustrated, I decided to remove the Skyrider top myself to see if the hard top leaked. Upon preparing to do this, I found that Axelboy had neglected to install any of the foam weather seals that came with the top, hence the leaking. They also did not install several screw closures designed to keep water out.
Called them out on it, so they said they ordered the parts. Took the car back in for them to fix. Steve acknowledge his technician was mistaken. An hour later, Steve says “the car still leaks, trying to figure out why”. I said “it’s the top then, because it’s the only one with leaking problems”. He walked away saying they are trying to figure it out.
They brought my car back to me and they had installed their own adhesive foam all over the factory gaskets of my vehicle instead of sticking it to the top, like a thinking person would do. These would prohibit any factory top from being installed correctly, and they were still blaming Ford. I said “these foam strips have to come off, not only do they look bad but they will affect the warranty and resale of the car”. But they left me to remove them and clean all of the adhesive off myself, without help. I still can’t believe they stuck that junk on to my car.
Afterward I told Steve I wanted to put my hard top back on, they can have this defective top back, I didnt want to deal with this anymore. He still insisted that it was my car that was the problem. “When the hard top still leaks we are done here”, he said… of course that would have meant they had damaged my car because the hard top didn’t leak before Axelboy, but he didn’t want to accept that.
He said he would refund me… but I had to leave while they had lunch. A real pro.
I came back, they took off the top and I installed the panels for my hard top myself (I didn’t trust them at this point to do it). Refunded the top but NOT “labor”.
I immediately took my car to a car wash. Guess what? No leaks!!! Amazing, it’s as if the issue was not my car all along, and they were attempting to gaslight me so it wouldn’t be their problem anymore. They could have just acknowledged that maybe the top was the issue (which was the only thing that made sense)

I would not have these guys work on a matchbox car to the bone in my opinion took a truck in to have work done and for some reason they got under the hood and broke the air filter box then proceeded to tell me that it was faulty equipment and not their fault wanted an additional $1,000 to fix their mess up the best part is they're justification for being under the hood since it was nowhere near what they were working on was they do a check on everything before it leaves the shop even though they were not asked to do so so in my opinion they will just break your stuff and then want to charge you for it would never use this shop

They couldn't help me with my request, but it was pretty out of their realm of work. Regardless, large, clean shop. Every Bay was full of vehicles, and the personnel behind the counter give an aura of knowledge and experience for the typical work and clientele.

Brought a 2020 Tundra in for underside work and frame reinforcement. Local Toyota dealerships offered no relief or assistance.
Received quote promptly for a reasonable fee. Work began shortly thereafter. Extensive rust damage was evident as the frame quality in 2000 from the factory has been shown to be defective. Safety issue at this point.
While the job is not complete yet, image updates of frame and underside enhancements look very encouraging.
Projected price is roughly 40% above original quote, which is disappointing of course. However in my case labor costs were reduced by 10%, up to cap, for a 5 star review.
In retrospect, probably best to receive a definitive range up front if possible. And review various posts for perspective.
Despite disappointment with the quote and price disparity, I am very encouraged by what is see in the work-in-process images. The quality of the repair, from a strength enhancement standpoint, may well surpass the the frame's original condition in 2000. And I am grateful for that outcome.
