I have been shopping at the dirt cheap in O'Fallon for almost 8 years. I've gone through the drive-thru I've ordered online. Never had a complaint. Until today. I went in to buy a few items. The prices are all mixed up. Some things don't even have prices so I picked up a bottle of a drink. I saw what the price was posted underneath it so I took it to the checkout with a couple of other things. To my surprise, the unpriced item turned out to be $15 more than what the price said posted underneath it on the shelf. Their excuse is, they know that a lot of their merchandise is not priced but they just don't have time to price at all. So my warning to all of you, customers and potential customers is when you go in there to buy anything. Most of it won't be priced and you'll just have to guess. And when you get to the checkout and it's different than what you guessed, they'll just named their own price. I was very shocked at some of the comments that the person made that was trying to take care of me or try to get rid of me. I told her I sympathize with the fact that she had a lot to do and she couldn't work. The drive-thru and the store and price items all together. I totally agree with that. I noticed that they are hiring and that's too bad that they are short-staffed. But customers depend on them having their merchandise priced so that we will know when we're shopping if we can even afford that item or not. Hello, isn't that a noble idea. And to come up and tell me that I'm going to have to pay $15 more for an item than the price said, just because you don't have enough help in your store. Store so therefore your items are not being priced and the signs are falling off, that's not our problem as your customers. In the things that she said like it was just no big deal but the items in their store most of them are not priced. She even proceeded to show me other items that were up by the checkout that had no prizes on them and it didn't seem to bother at all that someone might want to buy some of them and wouldn't know how much they are. I don't know about you people but when I go shopping I have to watch my money and I want to know how much things are. Then I can make the decision. Should I purchase them or not. Needless to say it was her attitude about their merchandise not being priced correctly or priced at all. That really got me the most. Just wanted all of you buyers to beware when you go in there to shop

Huge liquor selection at Dirt Cheap. They also have a large cigar selection here, along with the usual gas station grub.
